Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty has his post-vetty visit bounce in full gear (maybe the full-moon party influenced AMPS, too!). Hopefully the bounce will break today and he can get back to settling into his new dose. No more of this wandering around in the Yellow Marsh! This afternoon I will pick up Rusty's labs and we'll see how his GGT is. He had a coughing spell early this morning, but otherwise it was a good--if cold--night. It was 38 degrees here this morning!!

Finally we have what looks like it might turn into a sunny day. We want to plant our window boxes soon. Edward's garlic (planted last fall) is coming up nicely.

Yo Kitties: that was a great Full Strawberry Moon Party! Thanks to Neko and Tiger for hosting it! Thanks to all the kitties who brought special dishes for the feast. They are now official members of the Kitchen Krew. Next month we have TWO full moons: the Buck Moon (1 July) and a Blue Moon on 31 July. Camp Stu will be the venue for the Full Buck Moon. Suggestions for a venue for the Blue Moon are welcome.

BRRRR! 38? I like the pending sun part. We are raining right now, but they say that the afternoon will be nice and sunny. I planted the flower pots on the deck yesterday. Sure is nice to have some color out there now. I hope you can get your window boxes done soon.

Rusty...time for you to slide on back down to the lagoon....if you don't want to go in, you can take the shark tower watch since China's out in the water getting webbed feet

How about coming to the Lake of the Ozarks for a party?? We're smack in the middle of the country and have the biggest man-made lake in the US so there's lots of water sports available, caves to explore and even a great cliff for jumping off of into the water. For the kitties not into water sports, there are lots of antique shops and Mennonite stores with the freshest produce to choose from (as well as homemade breads, pies and cookies!!)

There's even a small airport to fly into! (We need to get Maui the Magnificent's jet out of the hanger! It's been awhile since it's been flown!...Did Elsa ever get her full pilot's license?)

Oh come on Rusty. No more bouncing. I hope the test results show a happy perfect kitty, just like we all know he is. Have a great day Ella!

We had a busy day of running around. I also had to work on my bikes. We picked up Rusty's bloodwork and urinalysis reports and all is GREAT! His GGT is now back to his normal (which is a very low normal). So glad that worry is over!! The only thing out of range was a borderline high EOS, which I gather indicates allergies or parasites. In Rusty's case it is certainly allergies! Rusty's vet was immensely pleased with the test results. I'll be putting them on the Labs tab in his SS this weekend.

The LagoonMeister was tuckered out today from the vet visit and the party. It always takes him a few days to clear a bounce, so we'll cut him some slack in the bg department. The weather was gorgeous. Tomorrow we have a paddle to a lake we've never paddled on. Should be fun. And on Friday, another, more familiar, paddle.

Off now to watch the Mets game. I should stay on the board, but I'm tired from the day, too! bbl, when I get my "2nd wind".

p.s. to @Chris & China : Yo China: Lake of the Ozarks sounds like a great venue for a Blue Moon. Let's plan to go there for the July 31st Blue Moon. You are hosting! I'll help, of course, and we can get some of the other kitties to help with the planning and the logistics.

Great news on the b/w. Big sigh of relief on the normal GGT. :):) Now Rusty, about those numbers....

Enjoy the paddle. What fun on a new lake! I'm surprised you haven't done all the ones near you, but I always enjoy exploring new territory.

Hooray on the good labs! Even when they tell you it's all good, nothing beats seeing it for yourself (I just have to get into the habit of asking for a copy).

Don't you worry about the lagoon, Rusty. China and Cinco are taking their deputy duties very seriously and have all under control until you are ready to get back in the field.

A party in the Ozarks with China hosting? I is so there! Just make sure the bus picks me up! - Cinco

Dem flyin Kangaroos of mine broke into de stash before we left, I tink we ended up in de North pole. I can't be sure cause dey was flying in zig zags and doin all those loop de loops so I lost my sense of direction. Also Purrdy an I broke into de stash too but I'm pretty sure dat der was polar bears chasin us and a loud man in a red suit was yellin at us about messin wif his elves so I tink it was de North pole :confused: next time I be sealin up de bottles tighter!

Yay for those labs :):):) but Rusty get out of the marsh cause Purrdy looks up to you and he's followed you in o_O
