Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans with his head on his little green pillow (it got quite cool last night--much more normal for this time of year). This morning he had a good test, good shot, triple-treat breakfast of FF T&G, Wellness Turkey, Paw Lickin' Chicken, a delicious lung treat, a schmooze with his mamabean, and now a nap in his basket. This morning, after his breakfast and his shot, Rusty went back to his tray and sat in front of it. This is his way of saying that he wants something other than what is still in his dish (he always saves some breakfast for later in the morning--Rusty is a grazer). Yup, he wanted some Paw Lickin', so he got it and ate it happily.
Today is a Monday Paddle and our group is paddling along Middle Saranac Lake, through the locks on the Saranac River to Lower Saranac Lake, where we will have lunch on one of the islands, and then continuing on to 2nd Pond, where we will take the boats out. This paddle requires a car shuttle, but I believe that some of our friends who have 2 cars will bring the second car and park it at the take-out so that the drivers can be shuttled back to their cars, which will be still at the put-in. The weather is cool and cloudy with showers possible this afternoon. This is a beautiful paddle and I hope that the sun will make an appearance.
Rusty will be home alone until about +9 or so and will have lunch served by his automat. He invites his pals to join him on the porches for a day of chillaxin'. Tomorrow we are all going down to Camp Stu for a couple of days, so the kitties can plan what they want to do at camp.
Wishing all a good day. Continuing to keep Caryl, Jane & Jack in our thoughts. Continuing to send healing vines to Simon and to all kitties and beans who need them. Special healing vines to Lyresa's son, Cody.

Yo Kitties, I'm going to Camp Stu tomorrow for a few days and hope that you will join me there. We can swim, fish, paddle, and chillax on the porch. We can grill our catch. Maybe there will be mousies and chipmunks (but I can't promise). Come to my house today and we'll make some cimmamum cookies and plan the next few days at Camp.
