Yesterday the daytime pink bounce continued and I found out what she's been doing at night.

6/2 Recap:
AMPS 188 +3 346 +10 291
PMPS 316 +3.5 235 +4.5 167 +9 88

I discovered two reasons for Neko's daytime bounces. One is the rather wicked drop of 70 points in one hour and the other is the middle of the night greens. When I got up at +9 she was sleeping on my laptop bag and as soon as she saw me it was "mew?", the ever hopeful for snacks. I obliged. :-D Today is a sunny day, Neko had been sprawled in the sunbeams with belly to the sun. She's just come into the shade and I want to curl up and sleep beside her. Rowing this morning was hard. Gotta rethink TFS schedule. Staying up late to monitor and getting up early to row and getting sleep are mutually exclusive.

Those sneaky night time greens will keep you guessing every time. Glad you caught that one last night.

At least now you know what Neko is doing. It doesn't really help you get sleep though.

Hello Wendy,

So sorry to hear about your schedule! Have your tried morning sleep rowing? Sorry couldn't resist!

P.S. Did you every find an auto feeder?

So she's having one nadir a day, instead of two? Zener has done that before too. Crazy cats. Can you do her shot time so that a midcycle test is when you get up for rowing?

Re: 6/3 Neko AMPS 163 +3.5 330

seems you just need to move rowing time to late in the day....
like that's a good time... right... ;-)

Maybe some day Neko will adjust those cycles to be more helpful........

not....

Paws crossed the pinks are about done. Busy day today, got the pressure washer out and started on cleaning the brick work and cement. For Neko, the sound is like a vacuum cleaner that sprays water!

Still thinking about TFS time. Last year at this time, Neko never got low so it wasn't a problem and I was shooting an hour later. We can only row at set times when coaches are available. To date it's just been early morning. Starting next week, there will be evening rowing and two days a week later in the morning. Of course, the best water and best coaching is still at 5:30AM. @-)

@Deb - Neko often has a later nadir. And sometimes not. It's a bit of a guessing game overnight.

@Carla - It is good to know she's getting greens so don't need to increase just yet.

@Rich - I bet you've never rowed with a competitive group. Sleeping is out of the question!  Cause then the coach picks on you in front of everyone. I'm using the same auto-feeder as you. It was the drinking fountain I was looking for. Got one, it was ignored so will be returned.

@Liz - The complication is now the different rowing times. Oh, and the fact that Neko's nadir wanders a lot. She's earned deductions anywhere from +3 to +9 in the cycle. Currently +9 is when I get up for rowing. So I have to try to predict what kind of cycle she's having when I go to sleep. Since she's still refusing to go low during the day and bounce at night.

@Rhiannon - Rowing late in the day is easier on the schedule, except I'd have to start shooting one hour later and stay up an hour later most nights. Plus during the summer the crazy power boaters come out at night and the rowing isn't as good. Neko's just not into cooperation.
