Hello everyone! It's seems like it's been SO LONG ago that I spent every waking minute on the board but it's only been a month and a half since Mego's OTJ party. I wanted to let everyone know that Mego is doing very well thus far. I haven't been testing every day for a while and now I just spot check him every so often. Tonight he gave me a 69! I'll take it. It seems the diet is doing it's work. I weighed Mego last night as his weight has been a concern for a while. He doesn't seem to be eating as much as he used to but he seems to be doing his normal kitty stuff so that's good. His weight is down to 10.2 lbs. At diagnosis (middle of March) he was 12.2, 1 month into treatment he was down to 11.2 and now he's lost another pound. Does anyone think there is anything to be concerned about here?
I haven't been in touch with a lot of you but you are not forgotten in the least. I do check in on the board quite regularly just to take a peek on how everyone is doing. I am so happy to see our newest OTJers! So congrats to you who have made it to the Falls.
I hope you all are enjoying this summer weather. It finally showed up here on the east coast. Sending healing vines to all those who need it - you all are never far from my thoughts.
