Not a good start for the day. Had hoped he wouldn't be that high, since he was 303 2 hrs before.

I'm testing hourly thru his cycle today, to see if I can get a vague idea of where he's having his onset, nadir, etc.
Because of that, I didn't give him the R at AMPS, although he needed it. I want to see just what the Lantus is doing and when.
I'm sure his numbers will be awful all day, but I'm doing it for the data, which I may need if I have to fall on unorthodox methods to try to regulate him. Today's numbers make him look like he needs an increase, but he dropped to 38 on 2.0 last time. It's not like 1.75 can't get him into mid green, it has, but I've been trying to not let that happen.
On to Plan 'G' I guess.
Way past Plan 'B'. :roll: At this point, I'm about ready to try anything. :? I'm considering split dosing, although not recommended, since nothing else is working. Will give that a few days to decide on.
Open to any other suggestions or ideas. Lucian has never been a 'By The Book' cat to begin with, I'd be silly to expect him to now. ohmygod_smile
But after 6 months and very little improvement, it's time to consider other options.

Change of plan, had to break down and give him the R, he just spiked to 487 @ +10 and I don't want him hitting 500 if I can help it. :sad:

It looks to me like you could try the 2.00 again, since you are around so much to test. That's what I would do.
Sometimes, I know, it's scary to go back to a dose that he went really low on previously. Been there.
I guess you could try a skinny 2.00 (with the top of the plunger just showing over the top of the 2 unit line), too.

But I'm done until 6 AM, his +10. Just got his +3 @ 294, he's eating his bedtime snack and we're thru! @-)
