Morning all,
I never considered Lou a bouncy kitty before, but apparently he is. Talk about an extreme reaction. Hopefully he clears it soon because I don't like these high numbers.... especially considering his ketones spike (albeit still within normal range) whenever his BGs climb. They never did that before. =/

Did you get some new ketone test strips?
I'm thinking his body was used to the higher numbers and yesterday his body thought he was going low, thus the eating more than usual and the bounce. And maybe he was lower before that AMPS yesterday morning.

Oh for Pete's sake. I didn't even think about that. I'm so focused on greens that I wasn't really thinking about him panicking in blues. He's rarely been that low lately, so he'd definitely not be used to it. And yes! Thankfully my strips came in yesterday. His ear didn't want to bleed enough for a test last night, but thankfully I scored one this morning. Thank you so much for your help Dyana!
