Lily is much better. Her tummy issue that she had this past Thursday morning is not an issue any more. By that afternoon she was eating & feeling better. Still don't know what caused it though.
But boy it did not take long for her #s to go way up! I am not used to seeing many yellows or pinks lately. Thankfully she is back into the greens right now. :)
Vines & prayers to all who need them! :bighug:

Woohoo! Welcome back Mr. Greenio. :D

Neko did the odd day off with appy issues/vomiting. If you see it again with Lily, you may want to consider getting an ultrasound done at some point. Acromegaly can impact all the organs, including the gut.

Is it ever too late to reconsider SRT? Its been a year now since Lily was diagnosed....

I think it depends on the health of the cat. Some acros get heart conditions (enlarged heart) that make it risky to do anesthesia. Neko's second time around, in spite of a clean echo a few weeks before hand, it was dicey cause a heart block showed up when she was out for the CT scan. I have heard that the earlier you do SRT the better, because you are reducing the length of time that the growth hormone can do it's damage. But having said that, acro symptoms seem to progress at different rates. I know of at least one person who proceeded with it in spite of a kitty with a tricky heart. In that case, kitty spent the nights after SRT at the clinic overnight for extra monitoring, instead of going back to the hotel room like Neko did.

Do you have any idea how long before her FD diagnosis that Lily might have had acromegaly? Neko started eye tearing 6 months before FD, so I figure that's when acromegaly started with her. Did Lily show any earlier signs?
