All is well in CurryLand. Now that she is free she is not getting her food from her feeder while I'm at work or during the night. (I've been coming home at lunch to check and getting up in the middle of the night as well.) Her appetite has changed again and doesn't seem as hungry. This happened once before when her numbers started to flatten out and go green. Hopefully she'll get the hang of it again. Or I could just leave food out all day for her, but she'll probaby eat during the two hours before her shot which would raise her ps numbers.

This weekend I'll take down the babygates, crates and get the "isolation" room back in order. Its so strange having them back in the same room w/o being on edge all the time.

Love hearing about the progress in getting the kitties to get along!! I've been changing up Willie's feedings as well... always so hard to find the right approach for a given kitty! Curry's numbers are just lovely this morning! Hope you guys have a wonderful day!

I have always loved reading about Curry and Sid. I was sad for them when they were separated and felt for you. But I am beyond thrilled reading updates now.

Darn it Curry. Can't you wait until this evening to drop like this when I can monitor you. Ugh. I had a sneaking suspicion from her flat numbers yesterday that she might be getting ready to drop like this. Gave her the mm early. Perhaps that will slow her down. And will get a reading before I leave.

Today she is zipping down to 51 this am and 52 this pm at +2. She is getting ready to ditch this dose.


The Vet Behaviorist responded to my Monday's email. She was very happy about the progress made w/the kitties. But she sd that I shouldn't have the kitties in the same room unless I'm present to monitor. Well, too late. They've been together for 5 days now.....Even while I was at work. No problems. Thank goodness. I do understand her reasons but I had been watching these two w/eagles eyes....especially the last 2-3 weeks and watching their body language. Also, when I would put Curry in the bedroom and then bring her out later, she would be somewhat agitated. Curry is so relaxed now....she even wants to be "near" Sidney. So it worked out. I'm thankful.
 
Such great news about Curry and Sid. I'm sure the behaviourist's advice is very sound, but you're living with them. It's fabulous that they're getting along so well.

YAY! Sid and Curry are buds again - awesome. That really is just way too cool. :cool: :cool: :-D :-D :razz: what a relief it must be.

Very nice numbers for Curry too - wow on those 50's. always happens when we need to be somewhere, doesn't it.
