Yes Nature's Variety Canned is very good for the sugar kitties.
This is the chart most of us use. The 3rd row of numbers is the carb count and you want to stay under 10 if possible.

It gets tougher when there are multiple issues. Some use a phosphorus binder like @Amy&TrixieCat which is added to the food to reduce the phosphorus. Maybe she can help guide you here. In the meantime this link gives you the Low Phoshorus food along with the carb count.
