Good Morning LL
, There is not enough coffee in the world.. I hope what i'm typing makes sense.
Tommy seems to be doing well this morning, no catastrophes last night, thank goodness! The vet gave me no strict rules to administer the Bupe last night. I did give him .2ml this morning after breakfast. He seemed a bit agitated with me, or it could just be he is really hungry and I'm trying not to over feed right now. I've still been giving smaller amounts than usual just to be sure it does stay down. So far so good.
I'm also trying really hard not to put to much thought as to why his numbers are so high right now.. I know it's going to take time for the AB's to take effect and get the dose back to where it needs to be. I felt pretty safe giving him 10u this morning with his number being so high. Tonight we'll probably go back to the full 11u.
I plan on giving some R around +6 if the Lantus doesn't do much to get that 507 down..
I'm sorry to run right now, but Charlie, my shepherd mix is having trouble walking right now. My husband and I noticed that over the past couple of days a lump on top of his back down by his back left leg has become increasingly bigger in a short period of time. I have been giving him flexicose and aspirin to help with the arthritis for a few years now but I think something else might be going on. It looks like it's quite inflamed and we can't put a finger on any one instance that would have had that area get like that in such a short time. So I'm going to call the vet and see when I can get him in.. Please say a prayer for My Charlie Bear (He's 13 and I'm scared) We lost his brother Cole back in early 2004, he was only 6, and I just don't even want to entertain the thought..
I'll try to get back on later and keep you all updated. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to get to many condos since yesterday..
Thank you again for all of the prayers and good wishes for Tommy and Me yesterday. I will remember that always.. Luv you all so much :YMHUG:
