Still trying to find a starting dose for Tiggy levemir. Moved to 3 units tonite after a 35 midday. Can't believe how little he seems to need. So will save us a little $ if nothing else. Am hoping it will flatten him out but too early to tell with the lows causing bounces and inability to find a dose I can give consistently.

His walking looked worse to me today but I am hoping it was an aberration. Tomorrow my Parents are coming round and they haven't seen him for a few weeks so it will be interesting to see if they notice a difference. Seems happy though.. Is currently on the couch snoozing over my legs..

What a difference Levemir is making for Tiggy! :mrgreen: :cool: I hope he settles down to a dose you can give consistently.

Lev is $20 more for a 5-pack of cartridges here than Lantus, what is the difference there?

Same. $100 for lantus at Costco. $122 for lev. But at half the dose it's worth it! Assuming he doesn't creep up the dose ladder again.

Tiggy's numbers are looking good..........hopefully after a couple of weeks he will stabilize with nice constant numbers. Be interesting to see if your parents notice a difference - remember to make the video!!

I know!

Murphys law he will go OTJ. Then we have to put him on steroids cos of his legs....
