Hi Everyone,

Mr. Stu seems to have bounced this morning from his blue surf of yesterday (maybe he even went down to green last night). He's enjoying sunshine this morning (although it may be brief). He's been outside making the rounds and chasing and jumping after moths. He's had installment 2 of breakfast, his +2 test, and is now settling down on his porch chair to wait patiently until he gets to go outside again.

Hey Stu!! We are almost the same number this morning dude! You and I are on a roll!! hey today is Tray's 10th birthday!! We should bake a cake or something... but wow: how does one get to Brazil? ~~ Mannie

Tray isn't in Brasil, he's in Canada lol. And he loves the idea of Stu and Mannie baking sugar free cake for him. Lick's his lips in anticipation.

Nope, I'm Portuguese but not Brasilian. Just point Mannie north and tell him to follow the scent of maple syrup!

Spot's ears perked up.....Someone mentioned SUGAR FREE BIRTHDAY CAKE????? He'll be right over to give Stu and Mannie a paw if they need one..and knowing Spot, it will be just one hand cuz the other will be in the bowl, sneaking tastes!

Spotty, you bring the spices. I hear that cinnamon is good for diabetes. So let's make a cinnamon birthday cake for Tray. Mannie, I'll teach you how to bake today. Wow, it's going to be a great day. Let's have a cake party for Tray and invite all the kitties. Blue had a birthday yesterday. We can celebrate that, too.

Party did someone say party?? Do Lou is one his way I caught him in the kitchen making cupcakes for Tray he was keeping them a secret so I am not sure what kind they are :mrgreen: party_cat

Maui said, two of her special drinks will put any kitty under the table, they are that potent. So, I think there may be a drink limit tonight. Of course, Maui took the really big glasses and mumbled they can only have one, they can only have one, and then she laughed. :twisted:

Hi Again,
Stu's flat yellow has turned to PINK!! It must have been those blue-wave blues that Maui was serving from her little red wagon. Stu reports that the birthday-cake party was a success and that there was lots of singing and toasting the birthday boys. So many of the kitties brought special foods. And Tray and Percival (civvie brother) made goodie bags as party favors for everyone to take home. I think there'll be a lot of tired kitties in LL tonight!
I'll check back later on everyone. We were at an impromptu party at a picnic table in the rain (friends of ours are building a cabin and so far there is only a picnic table on the site). Then all our friends came back to our house for pizza (the rain got heavier and the temperature dropped into the 40s). I'm just getting caught up here.

Stu - my man! We can be pink together! I am too... bummer... but I am so proud of myself - I did not sample any of the blue wave blues until after the cake was done. phew! that was tough! I am glad we decided to make a cake for tray's birthday - it was such fun. Well buddy - wanna take a short surf on those pink boards? later!! ~~ mannie

the picnic table in the rain sounds rather nice - well it does. nothing like friends to celebrate something new, end up at a pizza party - excellent!, and enjoy your evening!
