Rusty is having a rest day. He's lying on the picnic table this afternoon and letting the breeze blow over his belly. This morning, just as we were about to go on our paddle, He almost caught a chipmunk. He was disappointed when Edward brought him in.

We had blueberry pancakes for breakfast and this evening are going to a Mexican restaurant. The paddle on Blue Mt. Lake was good, but hot.

Rain is predicted for the rest of the week. We may go home early.

Blue Rusty = blueberry pancakes. They were a Sunday morning tradition as I grew up.

I think Rusty had the right idea doing a btb, should have done that myself. I hope the rain holds off a bit more you.

It looks like it has been a decent day for Rusty, with a nice recovery from the yellow floor. I always like the blues... safe, and somewhat good.

I am glad you had a good paddle. bummer on the hot, but yay on the paddle. And blueberry pancakes? At your neighbors? I remember that from trips in the past. It always seemed like such a good time. I hope your dinner tonight is too. ENJOY!

oh bummer - just read the it may rain the rest of the week, and the going home early part. Well, perhaps the weather man will be wrong... maybe?

glad to see that Rusty has come down for you this afternoon. He had a very good idea to go btb this morning. We did that ourselves!! Blueberry pancakes sound good...yum yum. I am not a big pancake person, but when I get in the mood, I certainly enjoy them. And Mexican for dinner.....yum yum on that too. I hope you enjoy!

Sorry to hear the weather is going to be nasty this week. Hopefully the rain will find another path to follow and the sun shines for you.
