Good Evening, Everyone,

Another late start for me. This summer is getting away from me! Rusty had a good night, ate all his nighttime food and snuggled with his beans (cold, rainy weather). Just before bedtime he had the greatest play in his cubes. He has done this several times lately and it warms my heart to see him playing again. Today he spent a lot of time supervising the lagoon (and napping). Our cold, wet weather continues.

I went to Plattsburgh today to buy Rusty's food and treats so that we won't run out next week when we will be at camp. No roadblocks!! It is great not to have to worry about the escaped convicts. More and more details are coming out every day.

Off now to sit on the couch with Rusty and encourage him to eat his dinner. bbl,

Rusty is taking is lagoon duty seriously today! Glad you are able to get around easier and everything is safer for you up in NY now. Hope you get some dry weather soon, you can't be paddling much in the rain!
 
What a relief that both convicts are accounted for. Sounds like they had miserable time with the cold, rain and bugs. I'm thankful that no one else got hurt. Looking good, LagoonMeister!

YAY for happy, playful, snuggly Rusty!!!! And those numbers...heck yeah! So happy that there's a sense of peace up in your neck of the woods. Scary stuff. Scritches to Rusty!
 
Thank God you all are safe from both of those criminals. I guess that one guy was headed for Canada :eek: Thanks to that brave police officer who took him down.
So happy to hear that Rusty is playing and is back to his rightful place, supervising at the lagoon.
 
A least the lagoon got a brief scan by Rusty today. Maybe more tomorrow. Love that he's playing - that always warms my heart. :):)

Yes on the rowing tonight, what was I thinking? Mid 80's, humid and choppy water due to so many boats! Hope you've got some good paddles planned soon.

Full moon planning session tomorrow? There's two next month.

Happy to hear Rusty is playful, always lightens the heart. Hope it stops raining for you soon, please send it across the pond, we could do with some cooling down.
