Good morning Diane.
Sorry you couldn't sleep - your biorhythm must be getting hit. I hope you can take it easy and have some relaxing moments today :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Mikan's showing some good numbers lately and I'm trying to keep up with her. It is thrilling to see lows but at the same time, makes me nervous. :nailbiting: I know it's a process that I have to get used to. Mikan's training me for it :smuggrin:
 
I inow it's scary at first seeing lower numbers , but you will become addictive to them. Every time you see a nice green number you will say alright Mikan !

Me and my sister are going up to the nursing home, he will be in Hospice now so we are going to meet the Hospice nurse this morning. I was up there last night and the 2 nursing home nurses didn't know squat, and I lost my temper lol
I told them look my daughter took her life last week so I'm in no fuc*ing mood!
Today we will get his meds straightened out which ones he really doesn't need at this point , will give morphine as needed, ativan and depakote
I was like a maniac there last night
This one nurse there never has an answer for us when we ask her something, she'll say I don't know , I'll say well you should know!
She isn't this nurse that often but I'm going to report her to the Head of Nursing today
I know that some of them can't stand me or my sister because we were told that by one of the CNA's there that gives us all the scoop.
I'll need to be calm today lol
He hasn't eaten much in the last 2 days and all he does is sleep now
I saw a cardinal right in front of my house yesterday morning, I was sitting outside and it fkew right past me. I hope it was Ashley telling me she's ok now, maybe she's calking my dad nowcp who knows

Geez, that's gotta be so frustrating, Diane! You depend on those professionals to take care of your loved one, yet they don't even seem to care? That's not right!
It's unfortunate that sometimes a family member has to be an advocate for the one who needs care and watch out for what's going on day to day.

I think it was. The bond between you will continue on - she is there with you and for you.

Diane, I'll be thinking of you. Okay to be mad, okay to speak up, okay to be a trouble! Just be yourself. You are such a caring person - a wonderful daughter and mother. I hope the hospice care gives a sense of peace for you and your sister.

She'll come back down. Her body is adjusting and getting used to low numbers.

She could stay flat and drop again for PMPS.

Sly had weird action before he levelled out. Even when he was at the 5.25 dose, his numbers were all over the place. Then we hit 5.5, and it was like a switch went off.

Let's see what happens today!! I'm here with you on this ride!!:bighug:

I just couldn't believe it. When we got the awesome AMPS, I thought maybe we are onto something. Then, it just keeps climbing up and up! But you are right. First, her body needs to feel safe with low BGs. I know cats are strange but FD cats are absolutely nuts!

I wanted to SCREAM when I saw the number in pink :blackeye::blackeye::blackeye:
It's one thing if she started high to begin with, but it was like teasing me with the sweet number only to bring on hair-raising pinks later:mad:
Of course, it's not Mikan's fault, my sweet girl.
Well, what went up has to come down! Hope we'll see some action later! Paws firmly crossed!
