I think skipping this morning to drain the depot some more, and then having your parents shoot 0.5 would be a good option. Tell them that if she doesn't eat her normal amount, that they should skip or give less. Keep the MC and HC in a different cupboard next to the karo and the hypo instructions.
I hope you have a lovely trip to Vermont. I would love to see Vermont.
