Good morning everyone!

Thought I would get the loose lips condo going for today .. I sure hope everyone is staying cool in this awful heat wave!! I know some of you heat lovers are living it up, but please remember to stay hydrated! It does not take long at all in this weather to get heat exhaustion or heat stroke .. and those can be very serious!

My thoughts are also with all of those who may be close to the fires raging in Colorado .. I hope everyone on this board is safe and those who are in the area are out of harms way ...

Thoughts and prayers go out to the beans and furbabies on here who may need them .. Which leads me to a "good thought request" for my brother, who is suffering from a paraesophageal hiatal hernia and is going in for surgery on Monday. He actually had surgery last summer when his stomach flipped over (something more commonly found in horses???) and got caught on a fatty ball and wouldn't flip back down. The hernia was there at the time, but that inexperienced dr did not see it, and did not fix it so he's been suffering for the last year throwing up after every meal and constantly feeling bloated. The surgery is a major one and he'll be in the hospital for most of the week, with a 4-6 week recovery period after that. I haven't been doing condos much the past few days due to some craziness around here and I know I won't be here again on Monday since we'll be at the hospital with him, but I know him and his family would appreciate any good thoughts you'd care to send his way. Fingers crossed this is the last major surgery he'll need to have and it will fix the problem once and for all.

Stay cool everyone!! And I can't wait for 'normal' to return around our house so I can do condos again!

Sending vines and white light to you DB. John has a hiatal hernia too but much less severe. We will be thinking of him.

That sounds just miserable. Sending good surgery vines and healing energy to your brother. We'll be thinking of him on Monday and during his recovery. We hope things calm down for you too, Devon. Big hugs!
Liz

Devon, I'm so sorry your DB has to endure this. As someone with chronic tummy issues, but no where near that severe, I understand the misery.
I pray the surgery goes well. We have a few days to pile up the prayers, so there will be lots for him. :-D

Oh gosh that sounds frustrating. Especially since the first doc could've fixed it last year. I will be thinking of you and your DB on Monday and sending lots of get well thoughts.
((((Devon & family))))

Good Morning Devon,
So sorry to hear your DB has had to struggle with this for a year (+) when it could have been fixed. We're sending well wishes, healing vines, and will keep your family in our thoughts this next week.

Devon, we are sending healing thoughts and energy from this side of the continent. So sad your DB had to go for so long with something that could have been fixed earlier. Maybe we'll send a bit of our cooler air to you in trade for a little heat? Take care yourself.
