Don't know where that AMPS came from this morning....Think China may have been having sympathy BG's for Max since there doesn't seem to be any good reason for his wonky numbers last night either
Was shocked this morning...called my orthopedic surgeon and they said if I could be there at 2, I could see him today, so I said YES! They sent me for x-rays at 1:30 so had to give China a little extra food and head out the door at noon. There's some pretty good arthritis in my neck which he thinks may be where the numbness is coming from, so I got a shot of steroid to see if it would bring down any inflammation around the nerves to see if it helps. Without doing an MRI too (which my insurance does NOT like to pay for) we're going to see if it helps. If it doesn't, we'll have to figure out what to do next.
Got home at +10.5 to a very hungry China, so she got fed late, but I think I know her well enough at this point that it's OK for her to get fed in those 2 hours prior to PS without causing any problems. It does explain why she went from 88 to 126 in 1.5 hours though
Going to need to continue to take it easy and (hopefully) let the steroid work a small miracle, but still reading a lot to keep up with all the LL kitties!
