Doing the happy kitty dance here! I saw that streak of blue and dot of green last night - WOOT! Charlie's finally getting to a better dose. I'm kinda surprised he wasn't higher this morning as well. He might still be on his way into higher numbers. Let's see where he lands when he clears the bounce. I think you know they can last up to 72ish hours - 3 days from the "low numbers event."

You can probably test less when you know he's just begun a bounce. Save strips when you can!

Coming down nicely from that bounce!

Also, if you've just started dosing with calipers, the dose can be a little different than it was when you were just going by the lines....but as you keep using them, your doses should be more consistent

Was really exciting to see that flash of green last night! Come on Charlie, you can do it!

Being consistent is my goal. Especially trying to eye .25/.75 on the relion is pretty tricky.
 
so true - you have to look at where the plunger lines up - the top or bottom of the plunger compared to the lines on the syringe. The Terumo Thinpros are a little thinner barrel and that helps spread out those lines - but i'm thinking i already mentioned that. if you want a link for the ones with 0.5u markings from American Diabetes Wholesale, just let me know.

Nice that Charlie didn't bounce any higher from last night.
