I gave Miss Casper a little lecture this morning about her need to bring her numbers down. I wish my schedule wasn't jam-packed with meetings today so that I could work from home and get some spot checks in. Crossing my fingers that we come out of this bounce today.

AMPS 486 - fed 1 can FF
+.75 - put out another 1/2 can FF for each cat for the day
PMPS 333 - fed 1 can FF
+3 313 - fed 1/2 can FF

Unfortunately, it can take up to 72 hours. I agree - let's hope for sooner rather than later.

Are you testing for ketones? With numbers bouncing up, it doesn't hurt to keep an eye on this. If you are testing, could you put a note on your SS? If not, most pharmacies stock Ketostix.

Doing a little happy dance that we are wearing pink. I got home at 5:40pm and was actually afraid to test her. I didn't want to see a high number knowing that I still had an hour and twenty minutes before PMPS (and when I could do anything about her number). Crossing my fingers that we stabilize out a little. I'd be happy with a day or two of pinks and yellows - and then we can start thinking about yellows and blues.

A promising +3 number - more of a steady state than the drop we usually see. Here's to hoping she maintains that through the night.
