Hi Friends! Okay here's what I think did the trick:

1) eliminate the allergen (chicken) and all carbs EDIT: ALSO gave cooked foods instead of raw, mostly
2) mix slippery elm powder with his baby food (he gets some baby food with every meal), at every meal
3) I added a little extra budesonide (1/4 tablet) and a little extra cerenia (3 mgs) into his morning pill (1 tablet 1 mg budesonide and 7.5 mgs cerenia, ground together and encapsulated)

Patience. It took four days. And I'm not letting up for another 2 days or so, so it doesn't rebound.
