hi all,
praying for all the kitties that are having challenges....also for those beans that have lost their kitties....

i'm at work right now so i have to be quick

AMPS 214

left Rocket plenty of food....DH will go check on him and he MUST report back to me how Rocket is doing...
i'm worried so much...been sick to my stomach all morning....wondering if he has eaten and how he is doing...... :cry:

i fed him and he ate just before i left....

i have negotiated my hours so rather than taking 1 hr lunch i will take either 1/2 hr or 45 mins in order to leave early and be home quicker.....

please pray for us...for Rocket...

Rocket is going to be happy to see his Bean. I've been thinking of you two all day. Things are going to work out Claudia. Big hugs to you. I'm off to neck physio and acupuncture but will check in from my phone or as soon as I get back.

Claudia - It will take some adjustment, but it will all be ok. I bet Rocket will be happy to see you tonight. Have a wonderful first day!!

thank you guys....yes...i'm stressing over his lack of appy....

DH just called me to let me know Rocket ate some of his food.....i left 3 dishes with food and ice cubes (tuna juice)....so he was gonna put more food for him and head back to work....at least Rocket ate some....but with DH is hard to know EXACTLY how much Rocket ate....but i'm ok if he ate SOME....

i'm stressed over that aspect of it...him not eating....

counting the time til i go home and check on him..... :-D

it will be quite the adjustment for both of us....but Rocket won't have to worry about anything ;-)

Claudia, I totally understand. At one pt in time I thought about get a surveillance camera for the home so I could watch Curry while I was at work. Never did....but I certainly thought about it.

We'll be waiting for a Rocket update when you get home.

Maybe tomorrow Curry and Sid could come over and keep him company. I promise....Curry will be on her best behavior. ;-)

See he didn't want Mom to worry too much. You'll get into a new routine Claudia. He may turn into a night time eater for example. Waiting for updates.

Claudia, I've been thinking about you all day and hoping that things went well for you at work. I'm glad DH was able to come home on your first day to check on Rocket and it is a great sign that he ate some. Like Karrie said, Rocket may eat better once you get home and he may turn into a bigger evening eater. My civvie Cleo, does that. She eats more at night than in the morning. I'll be looking for your update once you get home from work. Praying for you!

got home and when he heard my voice came out from his little corner....all happy and running in a funny sort of way (with his arthritis he walks/runs sooo cute)....i noticed DH had put more food but was not eaten at all.....so whatever he nibbled before DH checked on him was it....

he nibbled a little bit after i got home and managed to eat well at pmps time....since his med routine has been changed slightly he is currently sleeping in the spare room....it is warm here today too....so i had to leave the ice cubes and seems that is what got him to eat some food in the morning....

i hope you guys are right in that we BOTH will get into a routine....my stomach was turning while at work....my fear is that he will go really low being at 3.5u and won't get up to eat....

i'm sooooo tired....so since as of tomorrow i start 1 hr earlier than today....i will MAKE SURE HE EATS before i head out which will be before his +1.5 nailbite_smile nailbite_smile

so overall a good report....not the greatest but ok....
 
That must have warmed your heart to have Rocket greet you when you got home from work. I'm glad to hear he ate at the PMPS. Get a good night's sleep and praying that each day will get easier and easier.

It sounds like a good day. The worry gets easier. I would much rather be home with Gabby. Unfortunately, Gizmo will not go out and earn enough to keep Gabby in Lantus and strips so it's up to me.
 
Hi Claudia & Rocket,
I am very glad that you got through your first day of work and that Rocket did fine. He was certainly happy to see you when you got home. I hope things will get into a nice routine for both of you (and DH, too) and that each day will be easier than the one before.

Awwww!! Claudia's first day!! And Rocket was so so haooy to see you!!--How about an auto feeder set to go off at +3 & +5 like I do with Moonie when I go out all day? She always eats the +3 food,so I throw in like 4 temptations just to keep her up past that crucial +3. or maybe a little mc for that hour??
Sometimes they eat more when we are gone! Have a good night!! Hugs I am proud of you today!
