Today Mazi went from +1 162 to +107, thats a 55 point drop.
I didn't give a small snack because the past few cycles on 0.5U he doesn't seem to be bouncing and at least he's been able to surf in greens most of the day. I've just been giving him his lunch at +3.
I did turn the temperature up in the refrigerator the past couple days. I wonder if he wasn't getting the true 0.5U potency 6/9 - 6/22 due to the insulin being too cold, if that's possible?
Previously the insulin was stored on the door, but I read that was no good due to movement, I dont have a lot of room on my shelves, so I had moved it down to the crisper when I got the new Lantus pen. When we bumped his dose back up to 0.5U I realized we could control our crisper temp setting and now I have it on the coolest setting vs coldest.
I hope that not getting a snack and waiting for lunch to get extra food is okay, what are your thoughts?
