I’ve got to share this morning. Cats!:cat:

What a way to wake up! Max was really playing hard this morning, I thought he had the zoomies from the sounds hitting the floor. I thought wow, he must be feeling good. I sat up in bed, trying to wake up to get started when Max comes up on the bed WITH A LIZARD IN HIS MOUTH!!!! Alive! I screamed and jumped out of bed nearly breaking my neck tangled in the sheet. My heart is still racing. My husband had already left for work so I had to catch the dang creature in the bathroom trash can and throw him back outside where he belongs. Max just sat there looking at me like “why did you go and do that for?” I’m happy Max feels so good, but for goodness sakes! I guess the lizard got in yesterday when my husband was re-staining the front door. I sure hope that was the only creature that got in.

Now on with the day. Have a good one!

That will get your heart going. Tango has brought us a rat or two as well as a snake and lizard now and then. I I know he thinks he's bringing us gifts, but really! I was home alone when he brough in the snake. I was able to capture it by putting a bowl on top then, of course, securing he'll stay with a recipe book.

@Lori Callagy it was bad enough being a lizard but if it was a snake, I’d just die right there on the spot! Or a rat! They look proud of themselves when they catch something and bring it to momma! I captured the lizard in the small bathroom trash can and ran like a crazy person to the door and threw it out! I didn’t even need coffee after that.:nailbiting:

I'm laughing now, but it's a terrifying experience. My husband always says, 'he's just bringing you a present'. Fortunately, he's been home (except for this one snake and rat) to receive our presents and if I see them first, I yell for Steve to come to the rescue. Love our furbabies.:cat:

I remember the time(s) Neko brought mice into the house - yuck! I still remember a child hood neighbour whose meezer brought home a snake, not dead, and left it under the sheets for the lady of the house to find in case she wanted a before bed snack.

Bottom line, Max is feeling good. :p

Oh my goodness, I hope we don’t get any of that! Max has always been able to catch bugs or whatever, but I haven’t seen him move that fast in a long time. I’m glad he is feeling good.:)

This brings new meaning to "Leaping Lizards!"

I'm probably showing my age with that one!!

Max's numbers are looking great, and he's obviously matching them with his energy! :bighug:
