We are in the second of two cans of kangaroo. I need to see if he still like it and it agrees with him and then find a pet food store that will special order it as nobody near me sells it. It might be too e pensive to do that though.

I hope the flirting works Lori. One more under 50 and I'll try once more to reduce. I guess if he starts to drop early I should give him some mc to prevent that but I'm not sure what I will do.
 
Wish I could send you fresh kangaroo. I buy kept at the local supermarket in the human section. Sheba loves it. Hope you can get it ordered in and it is not too expensive
 
Thanks Bron. The company that makes this cat food refuses to sell it on line or in the big stores like Petco. They want specialty stores. You would think in a big city like Los Angeles they would sell it but no. It will be interesting to see if Max eats it with as much enthusiasm as he did this morning and if it effects his BG as I don't know if the numbers I got were dry matter. Max was particularly hungry this morning.
 
It's hard to believe you can't find the Mauri in LA? It sure sounds great that Max likes it though, so I hope you can find some way to order it for him. Are you suspecting it raises his BG though? I immediately went back to recalling how Chris & China said Rad Cat raised China's BG. No clue why that would be. Hope Max's good appetite continues though, and by the way, did he have a birthday recently?

I'm starting to wonder about whether it's lc but today is the first time I gave it to him again. It's odd for him to bounce this high. They said its 4.5% carbs but I don't know if that is dorm matter or not. He just got ff and I'll continue it for tomorrow.

His birthday is around mid September. He was 2 1/2 to 3 months when I got him around Christmas.

Definitely crazy making! :banghead::banghead: Max, get down from there this instant!

We can get kangaroo in the people section too. I've seen it as burgers and sirloin, but pretty pricy. But it's cheaper than venison in raw cat food. Good luck finding it if the Mauri if it's LC.
