Only about 1 1/2 months, doubled dosage about halfway thru
what made you decide to double it? as I think like you did, I will not redo the IGF-1 test, until way later due to costs and think you mentioned that so far in the trail, there doesn't seem to be a difference /lowering of the results. If he does really well, than I probably will if finances cooperate.

Vet agreed with me to double it after we saw no side effects but not improvement and RVC has some cats on the double dosage. Even the 1 cat who responded well to the Cabergoline still had a high IGF-1 #. I would just gauge the progress by Marvin's insulin needs. Have you had any contact with Chris at RVC? I wonder how the trial is going.

Pretty blue tonight. I would make sure to get a before bed test tonight, just in case he has anything in mind.

I too am curious on the cabergoline trial results so far.

yes I will need a before bed, knowing Marvin I will need to stay up and only got 2 hours sleep last night... lol

Chris didn't give alot of info on trail as still analyzing, He said so far it seems to help on overall health, but still not enough data to confirm how it is helping with the acromegaly. I am planning to provide him with an update on Marvin, he didn't ask but am sure he may appreciate.

Marvin just did something he has not done since last year, I was eating chips and he came to me, walked over and gave me that look. I gave him a crumb... d'ooh...

I just noticed this morning's shot was almost an hour earlier than last night's shot. Moving the shot upmthat much can act like a dose increase. The recommendation is to move the shot time only 1/2 hour a day or 15 minutes per shot time.

Looks like a nice blue night for Marvin so far.

I am having a hard time with that, mostly due to work and sort of in a depression, so lose track of time alot
