What a day yesterday! :shock: :cool: :razz: :razz: I loved that amps of 65 - what an eye opener that was. ;-) Mannie had a great day yesterday - lots of blues, and greens.... even some "hello, I am still here" reminders from mr. liver, aka yellows. Two great back to back cycles. Way to go Mannie! cat_pet_icon We are a sunny yellow this morning.... I wonder if the Manster is planning a repeat of yesterday?

All is well in MannieLand, though the boy is tired.... poor guy's sleep was interrupted several times yesterday... so many pokies! It was funny in a way - where I left Mannie last night was where I found him this morning, and where he has returned to after breffis: the nanner pile. :cool: :razz: :razz: He's shuffled them a little: sometimes he was on top of them all :cool: (kinda funny to see tips of yellow sticking out from underneath his fur), other times one was a pillow :razz: , other times they were being hugged :-D . Weather has been 50/50 here the past few days. It was nice to see the rains stop, and by mid-afternoon Mannie was begging to go out. He spent most of the afternoon and early evening out on the deck, getting a ton of sniffs. There must have been some new scent moving through the yard - that little nose was working over time. :lol: :lol: Yep, all is well in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone! Today is cleaning day and more yard work day, oh fun..... :roll: But! only after to go to meet my son for breffis. YAY!!!!

That boy sure knows how to post some awesome numbers!!!! Nice that he has his nanner pile as a security blanket! Champ actually played with and cuddled his one lonely nanner yesterday!! By playing, I mean he kicked the heck out of it with the ol' hind feet while keeping it in a death grip!! :lol: :lol: Playing for Champ just about always involves lying down!!

I seriously wish I was there to help you with your yardwork. I've always enjoyed that, but don't have anything to work on in my yard as of yet. I've been in this house for a year and a half, but haven't done anything with the outside yet because it's so small and I can't figure out what to do with it!! Housework?!!! What's that? :lol: :lol:

Hi Karrie - What did Mannie do before nanners.... :shock: :shock: oh yeah.... all those boring other catnip toys he has. :lol: :lol: I can't remember when I bought the first one - it's been close to two years. I bought three: three cats, three nanners. they each got one.... until one day I noticed they were all in the same area, and sweet adorable Mannie was laying on top of the pile. I'd pass them out again, and the next morning back into a pile, Mannie on top.... collection #1. XMas rolls around so I buy three more, for the others. oh sure..... we didn't get through one day before he had them in the pile too. :lol: :lol: :lol: collection #2. and so it has been ever since....

Hi Patty - yesterday was really great - I love days like that when we are fortunate enough to get them... awesome! To funny on Champ - that is the way Mannie is with them too - all laying down, but do they ever get a workout, that and they make an awesome pillow and mattress! ya know - it is true what you said,a bout small yard spaces and being able to figure out what to do with them. It's harder I think if only because there is little room, and what to do to make it cool. good luck!

Hi Ann - hope o! though it is nice to have a short break this morning. I secretly chanted this AM as I'm waiting on the meter to report. not 65 not 65 not 65.... :lol: :lol: i sure hope so on the bungees and the trampolines... so maybe people that visit Mannie now don't know about all those bungee episodes... and the trampolines and the cliff dives and the mermaid hunts.....

Hi Michelle, Wowser! Did you get any sleep last night. Mannie sure had a nice variety of fuds; they amaze me with the pokies and their patience with us. Maggie also has a lone nanner, and sometimes she uses it as a pillow, so cute! Yard work, huh! It sounds neat just to have your own yard and be outdoors. Have a nice day and hope you can sneak in a nap or two!

well, got the front yard spruced up: check! cleaned the house, well the speed version which means dusting was neglected - again..... check! got my walk in: check! all in all, not a bad day.... I still need to dust. maybe the dust fairies will shoe later today....

Hi Ann - uh last night.... about 5.5 hours, not enough, but oh well.... ~O) ~O) got me going this morning. Mannie was quite happy with those fuds - he knows those cans and that they mean good stuff - he gets excited when they come out of the cupboard. :lol: :lol: and I so agree with the patience thing - Mannie is so good about it, never ever complains... sighs sometimes, but no complaints. Thanks - I like having a yard, i just wish I had more time to do it justice. It is great to be able to go outside, and enjoy it. Good for the kitties too.

Yay Yellow indeed!! Do you know the Roz Chast cartoon where the woman is reading "Bad Housekeeping" magazine and the lead story is "How to ignore a 5-inch dust ball"?? I'm pretty good at ignoring them!!

Hi everybody! I've given Mannie the rest of the night off... why not? he was at 250, close enough to nadir, and then he can sleep, and so can I.... Nanner sleeping is in fact in progress. :lol:

Hi Ella - I have head of that. :lol: :lol: on the 5" dust ball. I like that. That would be my basement. it's the last place I clean,and well... ya know... I hate dusting in any form anyways. :roll: and thanks - off to bed once I type this....

Hi Julie - :lol: :lol: One of the OTJ videos CD did for i think it was Shadow (?? not sure), but this kitty was a big nanner fan too, and she had them pegged in this video as charter members of nanners anonymous. Hi Tracy - oh yes on yesterday... omg! It was non stop,and a good thing I had no where I needed to be. and that would be an affirmative on this evening - both activities were tiring, but worth the effort: the front yard looks better, and the cleaning was sorta done.... :lol:

Hi Marje - no problem, really. it is OK. I was so late in visiting so many people tonight - and I am sure I missed some that I wanted to visit.... bummer! and yes on the break today... kind of expected it, all part of the "pattern". and that's OK. I can go to sleep now, and Mannie has been there already for the past hour. on the nanners, of course. :roll:
