Morning and Maggie is feeling really good and energetic this morning with playing with her pole toy! Every time I got on the computer, she wanted to play, so we've had two or three play times. I started doing my stretch exercises, and she took half of my cervical pillow that I placed on the floor, well more than half the pillow, so I got up and left her have it. I slept a little later and almost forgot her shot and was ten minutes late when the brain awoke! All P's in place except lb. Hope everyone has a nice Tuesday.

Send Maggie over and have her teach Champ how to play, PLEASE!!! He's such a lump!! Maggie shows like a delight!!! :-D

Thanks Iorwen; when she doesn't play, I worry! She is a bundle of energy for her age, 12 years young! :-D

Just because it seemed a little low for the end of the day, I tested it against my back-up (Relion Micro), and there is a 23 point varianse. So my main meter is accurate.

I shot the smallest drop possible as I'm not ready for Maggie to have a reduction. Not sure if this is the right course of action... I was able to get Maggie to eat some Wellness Chicken, so happy, as I'd love to get her on a better quality food other than the Special Kitty Souper Supper. Now all of a sudden she is not liking the Special Kitty fuds! Good news if she will eat the Wellness Chicken!! confused_cat

Surprise! Usually she starts rising at the +4! I'll check one more time and if Maggie is still dropping, I'll feed some FF turkey & giblets to keep her surfing. She's been eating Wellness Chicken, yay!

WOW - looks like Maggie is on a mission tonight. :mrgreen: Be good Maggie - you are low enough, OK?

Another YAY on the wellness chicken - good girl Maggie - it's good for you! It is nice that she will eat it - I hope it continues.

I do so wish Mannie would play like Maggie does - he's just never been much of a player. give him a catnip toy though and he is all over that.

So sorry to be so late in visiting. I don't know where my day went... the morning was gone and I hadn't visited anyone... aiyee!!!!

Hi Michelle, yes, 85 is low enough for Maggie for tonight! She is barely on any insulin at all, and I'm surprised she's so low. I just hope it isn't something else going on with her to cause the low numbers.

In hindsight, I wished I had gotten her a buddy right away after my GA kitty crossed the bridge. I think she might welcome a kitten but don't know if Maggie would get jealous with a new feline getting attention.
 
Thanks Tracy. Maggie is usually pretty predictable, so she should surf along. If only I could get her to eat more of the bulk of the food. Have a good night.
