Place for news and what ever  Please post if there is a condo we should be visiting. Many of us don't get to all of the condo's and often the subjects aren't telling of what is inside the condo.

I would appreciate picture and video alerts.

Victoria is eating wet food after two months of kibble. Henry still is convinced that anything other than kibble and temptations treats are toxic.

I have acpuncture today for the first time. I'm nervous about needles. But hey, I have nothing to lose. If it hurts too much I'll stop and won't do it again LOL. I'll look like a big baby but I'm cool with that too.

Happy Tuesday. Thinking of Claudia on her first day at her new job. I know Rocket will be on her mind tons. He's going to be fine Claudia. And hungry when you get back. Big hugs.

Hi Karrie, good luck with the acupuncture! I've had acupuncture before, and the needles don't hurt at all. Be sure and let the Acupuncturist know if there is any discomfort with the needles. Let us know how it goes today. I always felt so good after a treatment. Nice report on Victoria eaing wet food, yay! And, well, with Henry the jury is still out deliverating! What lucky kitties to have you and DH give them a forever home,

I've seen some of these images on the net, but just found the artist Susan Herbert. Her cats are incredible Check out this site, http://www.chrisbeetles.com/gallery/artist.php?art=1975 I've found several books of her work on Amazon too.

I think Ella needs the Catropolitan Opera book for Rusty!

As of this morning, still no poop from Mr. Troublemaker  He's acting just fine, though. If there was a problem, how long would it take for it to show up? A day or two? nailbite_smile

good luck with the accupuncture.....i'd do it for ya since i do enjoy needling folks.. ;-) ....but probably don't have the right kind of needles for you.

and yay on victoria eating wet food. henry prob just needs a little more time. good job w/both these wonderful kitties.

Hi, I am missing Squirrel (Lauren) and Tommy's condo for quite a while. Has anyone heard from her? I may have missed some news. I hope everything is okay with her and Tommy. I know she's been thru so much with losing her dog and so much else going on, too.

Karrie: good luck with the acupuncture!!! I bet you will zzzzzzzzzzz.

Ann (Maggie): I talked to Lauren the other day. Tommy is doing fine. She just got Charlie back and so it is another difficult milestone. Mark sprained his ankle pretty bad when he stepped into a hole in their yard.

i've been wondering about lauren too - i have her phone # and wonder if i should call. the last time she posted, though, she said she was busy. hope tommy's doing ok.

mr troublemaker-string eater just wants you to keep paying attention to him, i guess!

love the victorian kitter prints!

Thanks guys. I was too wound up to relax this time HAHA. Next time will be a piece of cake! I totally made it into something scary and I only felt two of them. They felt quite odd - can't even describe it. But not painful. My doctor has been a big let down so I have faith in acupuncture. Two years ago I wouldn't have done it. The gain has to be worse than my anticipated pain LOL. Thanks Tena, thankfully you and your needles are far away  The first time I gave Maverick his needle I had visions of me passed out beside him - just giving him a needle.

I am sad for Lauren. Grief is individual for everyone. Getting Maverick's ashes was so important to me. I was bawling of course, especially seeing his paw print and his hair. But it was like the cage around my heart holding daggers into it was taken off. I was still so sad, but it was a physical relief to have him home with me. I really got strength from PMs and Claudia calling and I thought that I would be one to hide for weeks and not want any contact with anyone. But it was different going through it.

Karrie, I'm glad you tried acupuncture. Just give it a few weeks because it takes me about 3 times before I start feeling relief. It has been one of the only things that has helped me with my pain so I hope it helps you, too. Yay on Victoria eating wet food!!

Hoping that Claudia had a good first day at work and that Rocket was fine while she was gone.

Loved the Victorian kitties!!

Hugs and prayers for Lauren. The grief of losing a beloved part of the family is so overwhelming and some days it is just hard to get up and put one foot in front of the other. Hoping that time will ease the grief a little and that the happy memories take over.

Thanks, Karrie, for the update on Lauren and getting Charlie's ashes back. I can completely understand what Squirrel (Lauren) is going thru with grieving Charlie, having lost a pet two and a half years ago, and it still gets raw at times thinking about him. I was worried about her and Tommy. I can only begin to imagine how hard it still is for you with losing dear Maverick. I remember, too, how good it is to have their ashes and have them home. Great on the acupuncture, too, there is a lot to be said about acupuncture and other alternative treatments. So glad it all went well. It's just the first time that is a little scary.

We have poop :RAHCAT Who knew seeing poop would be so exciting? I poked at the lumps but could not tell if the string thing was in them :-| Do you think there's a small chance that it might still be in Leroy and just not causing any issues... yet? nailbite_smile Or maybe I'm just paranoid?

Karrie, I'm so glad that your accupuncture turned out to be fine. I've heard good things about it and hope that it will help you.

Squeem, Happy to hear your good news about Leroy's poop. Keep looking for the string, but he probably didn't eat it at all!

I think that Lauren posted in someone's condo just the other day. I'm glad that her Charlie Bear is home, too. I remember how we waited for Stu and were so relieved when his ashes arrived.

I hope Claudia's first day on her new job went well.

All of you have a good evening. This warm, humid, stormy weather is very enervating. My DH, who usually works at night at his computer, is watching "Bell, Book and Candle"!!!

Ella

I'm glad you liked the idea of acupuncture. My acupuncturist would put needles from the sole of my feet to my lower back and connect them to electricity!! woooooo that's interesting!

Ann (Maggie): I talked to Lauren the other day. Tommy is doing fine. She just got Charlie back and so it is another difficult milestone. Mark sprained his ankle pretty bad when he stepped into a hole in their yard.

Thanks Marje; I'm glad you keep in touch with Squirrel (as I call her). Sorry about the sprained ankle for Mark.

Karrie, thanks for your visit to my condo, and I will try and get a video of spunky Maggie with pole mouse in her mouth dragging it across the floor! She should get together with Marje's Gracie and Tobey!

Tommy's SS is up to date -- and looks good. (The master list in in Kathy/Kitty's signature line.)

Squeem -- I missed what Leroy ate. String can be dangerous. Gabby ingested dental floss many years ago. It was major surgery. If Leroy starts vomiting, please get him to a vet.

squeem, i'm not sure what exactly the award should be, but you need some sort of award for poking through the poop!

sienne, did you have symptoms that let you know the dental floss was still a problem?
