Yesterday's Condo

I had no idea how many of you are being affected by the heat on the west coast. Not only do we have rain, it's be unseasonably cool the last several days. It's been in the 60s - 70s yesterday and it's supposed to continue for a few more days. Given that I've got the doors to the courtyard open, I had lots of kitty cuddles last night and through the morning. I was invited to a barbecue this evening so I'm hoping the the weather is accommodating.

And yes, we did stall briefly last night until Gabby decided to bring her numbers up. She's been having a run of dropping numbers at PMPS. @Jamye and Fred and @Tricia & Cinco - Gabby is a long term diabetic. She gets reductions if she drops below 40 or if she is in the 40s three times. With an unshootable number I could reduce. Given that Gabby doesn't always hold reductions and how little insulin she's getting, I'm opting to wait until she meets the above criteria.

Hope you enjoy the BBQ and the weather holds.
I've been meaning to ask you. What type of cat is Gabby? She is very pretty.
BTW did you mean to write 50s three times not 40s three times

Yup, you're right -- below 50 three times.

Gabby is a pound kitty. Her coat is a tortoiseshell pattern. I like tricolor cats -- that way, no piece of clothing or furniture is safe from looking like it's covered in cat hair!!!

The weather actually turned out to be lovely. The sun came out in the late morning and it was perfect weather for the barbecue.

Hi Sienne :):coffee:

What a nice day for Gabby. even and Blue. Looking good there Miss Gabby.

Very cool on your BBQ. I am glad that the weatehr cooperated! YAY! I love the thought that you can open doors to the courtyard. That is just the best. I'd have them open all the time, let the outdoors in. ;)

Yes indeed, you have definitely got the weather pattern normally associated with the Pacific Northwest. It typically is cool and damp until July, in fact often the 4th of July picnics are held indoors or under cover. I am so glad your barbecue was held in good weather, a nice break from your wet weather!

Gabby's SS is so nice, I love that you have it divided out so that there is no waiting while it uploads. If I weren't so lazy, I should do the same! Her numbers are also beautifully managed, no bouncing anymore!
