She is a tough cat that is for sure, I just love her to pieces. The biggest thing is the neuropathy I've started putting up things for her to get up on the bed and sofas. Allie is starting to get some dandruff on her back but she won't let me brush her! I try and sneak while she is eating. I brush my other cat Cassie twice a day at least...she lets me know when its time. Even after all these years, Allie is like no way, not going to happen.I'm glad you increased yesterday. I'm hoping you'll find a dose where she can see a little bit of green. And none of that pink Allie, OK?
None of this "transition slowly" for her!
Have done both. There are a couple brands made locally that I trust. In Neko's time, I knew both the purchaser and plant safety/sanitization person. But a couple of their types of meat had ground bone in them, so when Neko started with CKD, I switched the poultry ones to ones I made with a premix. I'm not saying you need to go to raw, just not to write it off. There are lots of good canned low carb, low P products too. Turns out making my own raw was cheaper than some of the high end cans. I ended up on raw because my other cat had idiopathic cystitis, and his vet suggested raw as a food they both could eat. Neko liked to bulldose her way into his bowl too.did you do your own raw or have a supplier?
