Yesterday

Happy appy, snuggles, feisty, bright-eyes, and anti-jinxes! She's being a LITTLE fussy about fuds this morning, but it doesn't seem like anything other than a "mood" issue...she's definitely also being very social and spunky. And again, it's only at a level where an overprotective helicopter would notice.

Staycation is here!!!! It seems like yesterday when I was on winter staycation...it's hard to believe it's been 6 months! I don't go back until July 7. Unfortunately DH is just too swamped to take the week off, too, but I've got plenty to occupy myself...getting caught up around the house with both housework and fun household projects - and doing it all at a leisurely pace.

With that, I'm going to go veg on the couch with some kitties and coffee (thank you, Elsa !)

Staycation are always the best. I find that I like to be home alone, where as when DH is home he tends to want me to do things that I don't want to do. Like Clean. LOL! Plus I would feel guilty if I just say and relaxed all day with him home because he would probably be doing things around the house.

Amy, that sounds like the perfect staycation -- I mean the part about vegging on the couch with coffee and kitties. And Trixiecat is doing beautifully, love a feisty, spunky, full of beans kitty with GREAT numbers

Enjoy your staycation.......I have never heard that word used before but I am guessing it means you are spending your holiday at home. My husband likes staycations best....he says he has his own bed, pillow, big TV, air conditioning, comfy chair, good local restaurants and local beaches.....maybe that is us just showing our age!!

Ahhh, staycation! You have so earned this. I love doing things with my DH, but I also enjoy having time to myself. This is when you can get stuff done, but do it at YOUR pace! Enjoy!
