Looks like we're getting a little action this morning. Appy flagged for a while but picked up with the BFF Chicken Chuckles. It's got a lot of tuna but we decided it was worth it if he'd eat it. It is only 2% carbs, so we like that.

OT: Tillie caught a mouse! She brought it inside to play with it. Poor little baby, it's little heart was beating about 200 bpm. I caught it under a glass and let it go near the woodpile so it has another chance. Tillie is at the door, meowing to go out. Zener is sleeping under the cabana and unaware of the drama. :lol: We are getting a new refrigerator today. The kitties will have a fit when the delivery folks arrive. Maybe that will make Tillie forget about the mouse.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Healing vines to Tricia and her civie Sasha, Mariko's Lucy. Congrats to Pixie, OTJ today! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Paws crossed for Peyton, Boomer and Oliver. Happy Friday, LL!

I don't think my cat would know to chase a mouse. I guess Tillie was hunting.

I am glad Zener's appetite was picking up.

OT: Poor baby mouse, just sat where I left it. So I picked it up with a napkin and put it in the composter where it's mama is living (I think). Tillie is now on vigil at the composter. Watch out, mousies!

Always exciting to get a new appliance. A friend of mine was telling me the other day she finally had to replace hers....they had been in the house since it was built...40 years. She couldn't decide white, beige, black, stainless. She wanted stainless because of resale but didn't want to constantly be dealing with fingerprints. Evidently they have a new kind of stainless out that doesn't get fingerprints so they bought it. Welllllll.........no one said ANYTHING about it being immune to dog licks. She said her dog is addicted to the new stainless and will just walk by and give the frig, the stove, the dishwasher a big slimy lick with her tongue. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Nice slide for Zener today. I bet that drove Tillie nuts to not be able to go outside after the mouse again. I hope the mouse is okay.

Kudos to you Liz for rescuing the mouse baby - I hope it found it's momma. Good plan on using a napkin to hold it. I found a rat tale with a long stretch of fur attached on the front lawn yesterday and sure didn't want to touch that with my hands. :shock:

LOL on the mousie escapade. I hope the baby found mom and they are laughing about his close encounter with the big bad kitty.

Hi Anne and Zener! This may be my first post on your condo :smile: My civie Brooklyn just wanted to tell Tillie that she also caught a mouse today! I wish I could have rescued it like you did, but I was too late. I woke up in the middle of the night to a lot of noise in the living room, and I found Brooklyn batting it around, throwing it up in the air, pouncing on it, looking absolutely thrilled. I had to end her fun, so she paced around the room for a while looking upset, then took a very long nap. I hope Zener has a good night!
