I won't forget the 1 tsp l/c at +1 this morning. Dose decrease at PMPS last night.

Question: Does anyone know how long FF stays good in the refrigerator? I have a can of m/c and h/c in there from yesterday and don't want to throw them out yet. Usually, I'll keep them for three days and then I toss them. Sound okay?

Praying for all those that hurt from the loss of a beloved pet and for those who are dealing with sick kitties.

For some reason my spreadsheet is not updating on this condo. I had night test and all her morning information is missing. @Bandit's Mom can you help?
I can see all the info on your SS. Is there more info that this?

Good morning Summer,
What a nice AMPS! You and Susie have turned a corner IMO.
Interesting about the spreadsheets; I tried to look at Bandit's SS and get, No connection, and a Retry box to click, which doesn't connect. But I can see Susie's.
Have a nice Sunday - sending vines for a calm day - you are doing great!
Oh, I have extra cats, so never had to toss any higher carb food. Third day would be my max to refrigerate too.

Thanks, Jan. Glad I didn't toss the m/c and h/c from yesterday. I have needed both today. I guess the higher depot is still in place. I don't know what was going on this morning with the spreadsheets. Mine seems to be working now.

Hi Summer, I have a question. In which sticky is the info on “feeding the curve?” Thanks, I’ve forgotten.

Hi Summer, I have a question. In which sticky is the info on “feeding the curve?” Thanks, I’ve forgotten.
I never saw a sticky on it. I just took the information from people who have commented about how I should be feeding when Susie is low. Several people, I believe Carla and Elise (@carfurby and @tiffmaxee) and Bhooma (@Bandit's Mom) have always said to feed about a tsp. of low carb at +1 if I think Susie might go low. I believe they have always said to feed a little medium carb (tsp) if Susie was in the 50's and to feed a little high carb if she was below 50. Also, if I were in the 60's, like you were this morning, I should feed a small amount of l/c. If Susie is having a pretty normal day/night (blue/yellow) I will feed a good breakfast of 1.5 oz low carb at AMPS and PMPS, and about .75 oz at +3 and then again at +5. They say to try and feed prior to nadir but that can be difficult when nadirs change like in Susie's case. Hopefully, if there is a sticky, the folks I have tagged here can help. Let me know if I can maybe offer more support. It feels good to be helping someone else for once. Hope your girl is better today. I'll look for your post. I had a nice long nap this morning and it was wonderful

Thanks Summer. Trying to manage her pain which causes her numbers to rise if she is hurting. I need a nap as well.

Thanks Summer, I may have mentioned it but Dolly is a grazer, I always have food out for her. I give mc when she gets too low. I pretty much can gauge what to give her now, sometimes I will give a tsp mc when she is in the low to med 50's and sometimes not based on how she's been doing overall for the previous hours. Her pain just seemed to increased a lot in the last week. I didn't want Dolly to have to live on Buprenex or Buprenorphine (her current) 24 hours a day but I have been assured by Wendy and others that it is fine. If you look at Dolly's SS, I also am never sure when her nadir is. Thanks for the help, I truly appreciate it. Have a great day. Sweet Susie surf safely.:)

I just saw the numbers today. Susie is on a mission! If she goes low again overnight, I think you might want to reduce again so you're not fighting to keep her above 50. She already had 3 doses of 2.25u. If she does go below 50, but high at AMPS, you could do 1 more dose of 2.25u then do 2u at PMPS. It's your call.

I'm blown away tonight. She dropped from 233 to 132 in two hours. I just got a 52 at +3.75. I fed her 1 Tbls of m/c. I keep wondering when this cat is going to start to come up. My fault that I waited so long to check her after PMPS. I'm just tired and want her to come up. At this point I would be happy if she would just come out of the greens altogether. I think you are right, Mandy. I might reduce again tomorrow at PMPS. I'll be up tonight with a close eye on her. Thank you for caring,
