You did the right thing. If she has dropped further at the next test, then give some higher carb food. If she is rising, test again in 30 minutes. Low carb snacks for over 50. High carb for under 50
 
Ok she's at 55 - going to give a tsp of the 6%. She seems quite hungry which is good - usually at +4 she gets a bigger snack anyway.

Will test again in thirty?

Yes I would. Just to make sure she is on the way back up. As the depot fills with the 4 unit dose, she may drop to 50 or under in a subsequent cycle so just be aware. SS looks great!
 
thank you! just to think I drafted a post today but forgot to click post that said something like "not seeing too much action on this dose thus far" but she loves to prove me wrong :confused:

Will keep a close eye for sure.
 
ok her +5.5 was 61. Thinking it's ok to head to bed, but please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong I can definitely continue to monitor if that is preferred.
 
You are good for bed. She is flat/rising slowly and I think you haven't fed any MC/HC, so you needn't worry about her dopping after the carbs wear off.
