AMBG Post: Green - not green enough haha but green



AM Post:
I went to bed at 8pm, due to exhaustion. I woke at 12:30am and could not go back to sleep. It is a little after 2:30am and I thought of how my mind gets boggled with setting up new condo, including yesterday's link, so why not create the condo for today, now, get the yesterday's link set up, then when get ambg, come post it. I am ahead of the game today!! I wonder how ahead I can remain hahaha

Tommy Cat and FatBoy have to be to the vet at 9:30am and I have to leave the house at 9:05am. I am not going to put my laptop away until I get Mouzer's ambg at 6am, so I will get that posted. I dont reckon there is any big hurry to post Mouzer's really but just to get it here, I will get it here hahaha

Hoping all goes well at the vet!

LOL You would not even believe the story for today at the vet! I cant believe what took place! Thirty minutes in the waiting room, while I saw the vet just dawdling around, doing nothing. And I even made sure to observe in depth, not wanting to believe this is what she was doing. I prefer to believe she was truly busy with her day. But no, that was not the case lololol

Then I was told to go into the room with FatBoy and Tommy Cat. Thirty minutes I waited. I could hear the vet in the back room, joking around with her tech, about nothing to do with any animal - it was all play. I even opened the door and peeped in to see what was going on. They were just standing there, having a fun time conversation about nothing.

I had exited the room and went back to the waiting room because that room was freezing cold. She finally came and got me. I went back to the room. She said, as soon as I left, earlier this month, they found out that FatBoy's radioactive iodine treatment vet would not be in his office until July 10th. They did not call to tell me I did not need to bring FatBoy today. So, FatBoy had to sit around waiting for nothing and he cant stand carriers. He wanted out.

So, she left me - I thought she would be right back lolol NO!! And I could hear her just joking and playing around. I looked into the back again and they were just standing around, fun time, doing nothing!! Thirty minutes again. She comes back. I tell her I have Tommy Cat on these products - I took them with me and showed them to her. I told her which one cannot be used with steroids or blood thinners. She was very disappointed lolol But I stuck to it that this is what I am doing. I told her I need something for pain and I was told about buprenorphine. She said that only makes the mind think there is no pain and she gave me something else, she said would help with inflammation and pain, but she doesnt know if it will actually work or not lolol

It is Torbugesic and had to be mixed with something, so she mixed it with Hi Vite Drops. I give Hi Vite Drops to cats here, so I am having to make sure I keep this one separate from mine. The bottle cost $47 and it isnt much in that bottle. We are to use it every six to eight hours but I have these other products and she wouldnt pay attention to what I have --- but so far, I only used the pain med she gave, once today. So, hopefully I wont have to use it like she says because I need it to last a while.

Anyhow - Two Hours at the vet for something that took her fifteen minutes to do. Unreal! And she has had me there for two hours for the third time now, that I have been there. The last time, she said, it wont always take two hours, you just have some extra needs for your cats, so it takes a long time. Today, there was not even that excuse!!!
And sorry to go into all of this but I just had to tell about what I have to go through just to get animals in to see the vet!!! gggrrrrrrrrr

I am secretly counting but not counting??? hahahaha
I am in the am of the day after this one and I feel the excitement for Mouzer for his pm but I am being nervous.
This stupid vet is a new stupid vet lolol There really are no none-stupid vets in our area, believe it or not.
However, I already have in mind, I will let this vet do the blood work for FatBoy for his one month and three month follow up after radioactive iodine treatment because I have already left the vet who did the initial blood work and it is too confusing to try changing vets again to get this done .... but I have two other vets in mind, that are close enough to me to drive to, and I will be checking them out, hoping for better. I wont be able to take this vet and her over-relaxed way of -- gee wiz -- what if I worked a job and did not have two hours just to hang out at the vet's office and had to punch a time clock - you know!! LOL

I have had some pretty cruddy vets in my time but that had to be next to one of the worst.
Well - the very worst was a vet in a suit and tie and I took an injured kitty in who got hurt in a car fan motor and a huge gash at his back end. The vet snarled and wouldnt touch the kitty and got angry when I put the kitty right up to him, begging for his help, and the kitty got fur on his 'black' dress pants. That vet was cruel. I took the kitty to emergency and it was decided he had to be put to sleep. The emergency people were very kind. I cried so hard. I cant take having to put them to sleep. My heart wants to save them and it just kills me every time I ever have to do that. They wrapped him in a small body bag thing and put him in a small casket shaped thick box and gave him to me to bring home to bury. But that vet we went to was so ugly with his attitude and I have never stepped foot there again!
