Good morning!!!

Yesterday's

Lucy is doing good this morning.
Good appetite and poop (soft) too.

I have an appointment I can't be late today at 11am, so I'm really hoping her +2 number will be decent nailbite_smile
I really wonder how everyone else is doing it, managing time between kitties (testing, feeding, making sure she/he is safe) and other responsibilities (work, kids, etc.)
I don't have kids, so mainly work for me, but I am really exhausted handling Lucy and work.....

My friends and acquaintances look at my face (dark pockets under my eye, thinner cheeks), and say "Are you OK?!", and I start to say "My cat....", and they say "Oh no! Is she OK?", and I say "She is fine, doing great.", and they look very confused. Usually too tired to explain.

Re: 6/27 Lucy AMPS=110

Great number for Lucy to start her day. Hope your +2 is just a little lower, and then you have a beautiful surf :-D Yes, it is nerve wracking having to leave our kitties or work, or other "interferences." And no one does understand like the people on this board. I gave up explaining to "outsiders" also!

Re: 6/27 Lucy AMPS=110;+2=81

C'mon, Lucy....surf it safe now!

It is a tricky juggling act. We don't have kids either, and we're very lucky with our work situations (I own the business and it's close to home, DH works for his brother in law, and is also close to home). I can only imagine what it is like having kids and a job where people just don't understand. And, no matter what, it IS tricky to explain to other people that your schedule revolves around "just a cat" . Honestly, I don't tell many people any more, because their attitudes tend to infuriate me.

Anyway...have a great day!!!

Re: 6/27 Lucy AMPS=110;+2=81;+2.5=86;+3=74

I don't know if it was the right thing to do, but I gave her a tiny bit of karo mixed with LC food because I have to leave...

Re: 6/27 Lucy AMPS=110;+2=81;+2.5=86;+3=74

Lucy looked like she was asetting up a nice surf, but it never hurts to be cautious...safety first!!

Re: 6/27 Lucy AMPS=110;+2=81;+2.5=86;+3=74

It is hard juggling everything and I've found most people don't understand. I usually don't tell people anything. Lucy is looking good today. I wouldn't worry about the karo. Sometimes I have to give HC to Furball to stop her from going too low so I can get some sleep or go out.

Re: 6/27 Lucy PMPS=119

PMPS is 119.
I think this is a good number for a preshot :-D
Hope she'll surf in green again, but today was the prednisolone day, so we'll see.....

She ate her 1st dinner well.
She tasted something she didn't like in her usual food, and she looked at me with doubtful eyes as if I was trying to sneak in a pill or something.
Wellness cans have some bits that are not completely pate'd.
She doesn't like the potato bits which is OK because it's just carb, but today it seems she tasted something else....

Re: 6/27 Lucy PMPS=119

Pretty greens today!  This dose is looking good. Paws crossed for some nice safe greens again tonight.

When I was feeding Wellness, I could never understand why there were chunks of carrot in it. You'd think that would be easy to puree.

:o  :o  :o
Lucy is bouncing again...
This is so annoying!
If a bounce has to happen, I'd much rather she bounces in the AM cycle and stay low in the PM cycle.
I wonder if I can switch the trend of AM cycle and PM cycle by giving the steroid with the AM meal instead of PM meal....
Worth a try???
