All is well with Lucky.bean no,I really don't know how I get up inn the middle of night to test Lucky, I think I'm sleep walking with these sleeping pills,I must get the test I always write the number on a piece paper and sometimes have a bowl on the floor. the next day Lucky doesn't seem to have a headache but I do. I just gave him his shot and for the first time must of hit a spot that made him jump. Momma is still out of it ~O) ~O) Well Lucky laying in front of catio looking for more bluejays and watching the logging trucks go by our street it has become very noisy since they aloud the thinning.Have a good Thursday all surf well for your beans healing vines for those that have pass and left us. I know it's been really tough on you LInda, but this has been absolute fantastic for Lucky. Hope you can catch a few naps today.

Does Lucky need to give you a break for a bit or do you want to keep going?

Ok I take it dose reduction what kind of are we talking about now he gets 1.75u I checked his relion meter 28 then my meter 51 just gave 2 teaspoons HC he was growling so hungry again I knew he was low

Whoa! Is that a 28 at +2??? :shock: Did you retest to be sure it was a good test? If it is 28, time to break out the karo and rub it on his gums

If it was indeed 28 or even 51, break out the Karo and rub on his gums if he won't lick it off food or finger...too early for that low!!!

How much variance do you normally see in the 2 meters. Chek in again in 20 to 30 minutes. HC can take a little longer to bring them up than karo.

You have some time to decide on the dose, it is at least a .25u reduction. others will be checking in.

I normally only have a couple in variance so this threw me,but yes he does need reduction to night think he has earned it :smile:

Just gave some Ocean white fish he seems to be ok with that and full will test in 30

Those 40's are very low for a surf but he is surfing. Definitely feel more comfortable if you could get the numbers up to the 50's at least.

You know what they say about the 40's don't you? "Feed the 40's"

Come on Lucky, up a bit more please, so your mommabean Linda can have a few minutes to breath.

At this point, I might add a drop of karo to his food to help bring him up. Yes, it wears off fast but you have several hours to go before his nadir.

I agree with Deb. We'd like to see him in the 50's before he surfs, whether it takes karo/honey or HC gravy. Feed a bit more and test in 30.

Congrats on the reduction. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: At least he did this one during the day. :shock:

Yeah Lucky surf now,Reilon meter 71 Element meter 74 going to have to use my element for a while after tonight have 5 strips left,no money for 5 more days have to figure out cat food also, yuck! tough month from having to pay that stupid speeding ticket.Needed 1 more 12 pack of food this month. The extra HC had to be bought this month too. Go Lucky go :lol:

Oh I think I can breathe tonight this has bee a long cycle I glad I was so tired that I could fall back to sleep today on couch. Lucky has kept me on my toes, just ran out to dollar store picked up cans of food.Safeway had Priority chicken and gravy for 35 cents great deal. :smile:

I think I really like the color BLUE tonight, yep sleep tonight never know what is in store. Visit everyone tmro busy day :smile:
