Good Morning and Happy Caturday everyone!

I'm so glad it's Saturday...but already my thoughts are at work and all the things that need to be done! The boss is ready to start new projects and we haven't launched our revised application yet - there are so many changes pending before that go-live and he's already way off and running in another direction...sheesh...it's great to work with creative people but sometimes one just needs to slow them down a bit before things really go off the rails....you can tell I'm the slow methodical one on this team... He's a creative genius...but he gets a little wild sometimes!

Anyway, Luci went surfing last night and kept DH up a little late...she needed extra monitoring and MC to slow her down...and then to my great surprise and dismay she jumped up into the rafters yesterday! Now this is the young lady that broke her foot last Fall when she missed one of her favorite perches on a windowsill and fell...landed badly and then we paid dearly for that with multiple vet visits and a cast for way longer than we thought because of her diabetes! Here are pics of Miss Silly pants up in the rafters...now mind you this is so high there's no way for me to reach her...I'd guess 12 feet or so from the floor...:nailbiting:

Have a great day everyone, hope you and your kitties stay safe and the kids surf safely!

Hilarious—what a wonderful cat!

I also thought you meant BG. Those silly kitties - they do love heights. You be careful up there, Luci!

This time she was literally up in the rafters! We don't have this type of ceiling in Florida - I think she missed it and just had to see what was up there...it's been a while! I was just hoping she would be careful and get down before I had a heart attack!

Hey Sue for some reason when I try to look at Luci's SS this is what I get

 LUCI!!! You better be careful up there!!!

She likes what she likes I guess! very cool pics :)

It's pretty cool that your team has good balance... someone with big ideas and someone to anchor everyone to reality... i think those types of teams can accomplish a lot together /... good luck with the big ideas

I don't remember,is that how she broke her leg last time? :nailbiting:

In October, 2019 she jumped up to her usual spot on the windowsill downstairs - and I heard a crash - apparently she miss calculated??? And landed on a surge protector on the floor - this is my assumption of course. I wasn't there but I heard the crash and went to investigate. She was laying on the floor on her side giving me the typical glare..'nothing going on here mom'....and then I noticed she limped away from me, running up the stairs on three legs...I followed her all the way up to the bedroom where she had retreated under the bed. Finally coaxed her out and her foot looked terribly swollen and she wasn't putting any weight on it. This was a day or so before we were going to leave for our two-day drive to Florida! I was able to get her seen right away at a vet and x-rays revealed her little back foot was indeed broken - 4 bones. Here's the x-ray.
