Good Morning LL. DH here. It's Wednesday again already and Marje is back at work. We hope you are all doing well.
Yuck on Miss Gracies numbers. She dropped into green yesterday morning, then ran in low to mid blue all afternoon and evening. She popped up into yellow late last night and is still there. Can't tell yet if she is bouncing or not enough juice. I think today and tonight will tell. I'm busy washing and ironing someones patience pants, but we don't want to let the girl sit in high numbers for too long. We may take her up a smidge if she doesn't come down smartly in the near future. My mad scientist with the nuclear NASA calipers can make some very fine adjustments.
Even with the yellow, Missy G is happy and healthy today. What more can you ask for really? Eating well, playing etc. She and Gus are busy napping at the moment. Tobey is on ground squirrel patrol. We have a lot of Round-Tailed Ground Squirrels in the yard. They look like little prairie dogs. Like prairie dogs, they are quite the tunnelers. Our yard is all rock, so they don't hurt anything, but they leave huge piles of dirt from the tunnels everywhere, which I then have to rake/smooth/shovel. If they weren't so cute and otherwise harmless, I'm sure I'd be out there like Bill Murray in Caddyshack, dealing with the "varmint cong". Now that the weather is so hot they are coming into the front courtyard looking for shade/water. Tobey has made it his mission to maintain constant surveillance to make sure they don't get into any mischief.
I'm going to test again at +6, and if Gracie is still high will take advantage and get out for some errands. Hope you all have a great day. If you have any rain you can spare, please send it our way.
