Yesterday's Condo

I so did not want to get up today! Oh well... Gabby needed to be tested, fed, and shot. Gizmo was a bundle of energy and was running up and town the hall.

We have a vet visit today for Gabby's semi-annual check up. The good news is my vet will do housecalls. Gabby does not travel well. She gets car sick. So, Dr. P has a bunch of kitties in the city and is coming over to make sure Gabby and Giz are in fine form.

Wow! What is up with the kitties today? Nice +2.5 but bring it up a little Gabby. That is great that your vet does house calls. We could really use a vet like that with Turnup. Have a great day Sienne!

Good luck with the vetty visit today. Great that she'll come there. Congrats on the reduction! Coming down :-D

Good grief, she's having another one of those days. Seems like the last one wasn't that long ago. Is Mr P awakening?

Looks like Miss Gabby has been taking diving lessons from KT! That was a bit steep pretty girl....now you got the 'zoom zoom's' 'cos of it... :roll: How 'bout listening to MamaBean.

The vet just left. Gizmo is as perfect as a 3 yo can be. He was his usual social self giving the vet and the tech that accompanied her all sorts of kitty kisses. I'm going to have to be even more diligent about brushing his teeth since he's developing some tarter.

Gabby's blood pressure and physical exam were all perfect. She had blood for a senior panel taken and I'll have the results by Sat. Gabby is going to need another dental -- tarter and gingivitis seem to be her middle name. Gabby's now stretched out on the window sill soaking up the sunshine. She's clearly had enough stress for the day.

Fortunately, I was able to convince my vet to not run a fructosamine. I cannot fathom why vets like that test so much especially since she has the link to Gabby's SS. She said a cat can be "over regulated." I guess that's possible if you're home testing and allow your cat to run in way low numbers.

Glad the vet visit went well. Is Gizmo making sure he's brushing for a full two minutes? (I hope I didn't get them confused, Gizmo brushes his teeth right?)
