Elvis hadn't had any insulin since Monday morning. I gave her 1 unit today. She'd eaten something about an hour before the test.
But after yesterday's scare, when she was obviously nauseated and unhappy and didn't want to eat, it's a relief to see her walking around, with a bit of an appetite. She had slippery elm bark and a shot of cerenia yesterday, and will have more cerenia today. I'm grateful for everyone's help and good wishes
(I should've tested her last night and maybe would have caught her numbers rising, since this morning she is so high again. But i was exhausted from being up most of the previous night with her, and so was she.)
She's looking out the window at the birds now - another good sign that she feels a little better!
