Hello. Hope all your sugar cats are well.
We left early yesterday morning to catch the plane, and the sitter tested him at 9 am. His BG was 175. She double checked and it was 150 which is just above Do not shoot. She gave 2.5u and checked on him in the middle of the day. He was fine and ate while she was there but she didn't test him. (I'll ask her to test mid-day if she's there to check on him.) last night his reading was 151. She gave 2.5.
She will be there in an hour and a half to test him. I have never seen him have these numbers. I think it's clear that the dental and Clavamox are having an effect. I'm not sure that 2.5 is low enough for the circumstances of having a sitter. She won't be there everyday at mid-day and never at night. Should I tell her to give 2.0? If I don't get an answer quickly enough I will tell her to use 2.0 this morning and then check back with you.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
His numbers on 6/25 were: Amps mid-400s +2 393 +4 290 Pmps 351
