yesterday

not giving shot this morning since she didn't eat last night. She had a buffet of 3 canned, 1 freeze dried
and YA. She might have eaten a bite of the ya... hard to tell.... and all this with cypro on board.:eek:
She's never been a dry food addict so it sits there and she just occasionally has a nibble.
She woke me at 3 am and I added fortiflora but that didn't work either. I think that's when I gave cypro.

just dipped out the litter box with two poos in it... ( rare for her) and both half runny/ soft...
one looked like it could have had blood in it.... not red... but more of an oxidized brownish... almost looked snotty.
I skipped her gengraf the day before.... and gave it to her last night....
I think I will make sure she eats before giving it tonight. And I've got ondansetron back in the mix.
She's eating a bit now after the ondansetron..... I haven't given any cypro thus far.

She was very lovey after my shower. I carried her to her food on the bed... and I can offer her kiss kiss, and make kissy noises and she came over and head butted me on my lips.... meaning she wants her face kissed. and lots of scritches on her ears/chin.

i gotta go work for 2 hours... and then again later today for 2 hours....

if it's the gengraf.... I just got the refill prescription....for 60 more days at $113.
ouch if she needs to quit using it.....
I'll have to try buffering her stomach more before she gets that pill....
 
C'mon, Shadow, eat your fuds! Nom, nom!!

Sending lots more appy vines. You're probably as wiped out as I am, Rhiannon. I'm working on 3 hours' sleep. It's good you only have to go in to tbp for a short time and can come home in between.
 
You are always so descriptive - I did love your description of a hairball in Sheba's condo the other day - luckily I had not yet had breakfast!

i just added a couple of bacon crumbs to get her to eat a little bit more....

I personally don't mind the descriptions, it's the pictures of poop that gross me out! :eek::eek:

Nothing wrong with bacon crumbs! Just not too many shrimp :p Sending truckloads more healing and appy vines for Miss Shadow! You are so lucky she is a surfer not a diver drama queen! And I couldn't agree more, if she did somehow learn to love her raw foods, the IBD flare ups would probably not occur. Is she able to have SEB by chance? That might soothe her intestines when she has the gengraf?
 
I shall make some more syrup up and try it again. I probably didn't give it enough time....
Shadow was just protesting so many pills, syringes, droppers.... I wish she still wanted treats.....

Come on Shadow - feel better and eat your fuds! I hope you manage to find something she feels like eating soon - it is a worry when they don't seem to want anything you offer them. What a sweet report on her being so lovey though - clearly she still wants to be affectionate even when her tummy isn't behaving! :bighug:
 
well....
i gave her some friskies chicken and tuna with gravy ... and she ate the whole thing.
just gave her the prednisolone.....

about 24 hours since her last gengraf..... and I'm skipping it tonight. will try again tomorrow and see if it affects her the same way.

we are having big thunderstorms tonight. we even had a lighting strike that did a double crash boom.... hadn't heard that ever before.
the canyons that surround us always amplify the thunder.
 
Glad that Shadow has found something that she likes to eat, for the time being at least. Vines for her continued appy. Hope the thunderstorms don't upset her.
