It's a hot one today. It's just early afternoon and Neko has had to take a break from suntanning in the solarium. She is stretched out on the kitchen floor, trying to cool off. I'm sure she'll be back out there again shortly. :rolleyes: She actually spends most of the time out there in the shade, but it's still warm for her long hair. Maybe I'll try again later today combing the other side of her pant legs. :stop:

Like the bean, Neko will probably get more active towards the afternoon. It's supposed to get up to low 30's (90) here today. I am no longer complaining about not being at the regatta this weekend. It is currently 99 degrees there (37 celcius) and supposed to get hotter the next two days. Not great racing weather. :eek:
 
Hope your DH took plenty of sunscreen. Sounds brutal. I don't blame you for not being sorry to miss the regatta. Between you and me, I'm not as sorry as I might be about not getting out to the racetrack today. It's supposed to be the hottest day of the weekend - around 90 F. Tomorrow and Sunday are supposed to be better - 77 and 80 respectively.

Miss Neko, you are off to a good start. Now why don't you head down to the lagoon to cool off? I hear it's really nice there today.
 
I feel so sorry for the kitties when it`s so hot out, laying around all stretched out, low energy. I hope Neko heads to the lagoon to cool off!
 
Yuck, who wants to be active in this heat! o_Oo_O I feel for your DH- Vancouver WA is usually much warmer than where you are:nailbiting: Hope little Missy Neko finds her way to the cool lagoon tonight!
 
Apparently it was cooler in the mountains today. :rolleyes: Third cycle after low - traditionally Neko's worst part of the bounce.

Tricia, Carla, Serryn, Lori, Rhiannon, Ruth - Maybe Neko thought the lagoon was too crowded today and she headed for the mountains. Got the pants partly combed - neighbors must think I'm killing the cat. :rolleyes: I haven't heard from DH yet, but I found the results on line. I suspect he was feeling the heat, he's not good at keeping hydrated. The guys from California won the races he was in.
