6/26 Moe: AMPS=246;+3=237;+6=198; covid update; PMPS=328

Oh another kitty in that lemon tree nest this morning. Luci and Moe, right there together peering down from the lemon tree...

Once you increase you may want to add a little dab of MC food to his LC food...sometimes a little extra carb - not a lot, just a teaspoon, will help ease that drop/bounce thing. Food is a great tool when it comes to holding their blood glucose a bit more steady. Luci and I struggled with that for a long time...we still do...because she loves to dive, dive, dive. If she seems like she's on one of those trains, I'll give her a bite of MC just to slow things down. Sometimes it works...sometimes not...but it helps with those drop/bounces...just a suggestion :)

Have a great day Erin!

237 at +3.

I was playing with Da Bird with the younger cats early this morning and Moe looked interested. When it landed near him (okay, basically in his mouth) he picked it up and dragged it to his food bowl. Just now he played with a different feather toy - very alert and swatting and biting at the feathers. This is new; he’s not been interested in play for months. :woot:

I'm so relieved to hear that!!! Great news...such scary times!!! Sounds like he's not the only one feeling better(well I hope DH is feeling better)...playful cat usually means HE is feeling better! Insulin is a miracle drug when it comes to these kitties... :)
