I've been a bit MIA again, because my beloved aunt developed a life threatening case of pneumonia. She's improving now, and has been transferred to a rehab facility. I drove the two hours out to visit her today, and I'm amazed at how well she's doing. She's 90, so it's going to take some time, but she's totally amazing.

Unfortunately, I came home to a mess. Mikey had the corn liquor Don keeps in his shop for polishing furniture and guitars. He was mixing it in to grated carrots. Strangest sight ever. He claims it's some great new polish he's making as a surprise for Don. Something doesn't seem right with this, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm so tired after my trip, that I can't think straight. Mikey told me to go to bed right away and not to worry about a thing. Strange.

I was going to ask Don if there was a way to fatten Mikey's dose tonight, but then I realized that it hasn't been six cycles since the fur shot. Yesterday's red tells me I need to consider the messed up depot, so I'll wait it out.
 
Mikey....I'm glad you're doing the mixing...I worked my little white paws to the bone doing all that grating (and now my pretty white paws are bright orange too) ~ China

So sorry to hear about your Aunt but glad that she's improving now - 90 is quite amazing all on its own :)

Meg has been up to something too, she wouldn't let me in her room yesterday. All she would say was that it's a surprise but she did want green paint (insisted that it be green, the same shade her tail mysteriously turned the other week) and I have noticed a packet of balloons has gone missing. She's also been whispering with the flying kangaroos, hmmmmmmm
