What to say about yesterday.... I had planned a hiking day, and so hoped that Mannie would give me my permission slip.... He did, but I also knew that I would need to make sure he was fed a MC food, enough to keep him in the safe zone while I was gone... DH fed him through the morning. I was happy to see the 125 when I got home, also glad that I had fed the 10%. I wonder now if he went green while I was gone.... maybe? We rounded out this night in the blues, have a sunny yellow for amps today. I hope he will return to the blues, maybe the greens. What'd'ya say Mannie? Sound like a plan? Thanks for giving me yesterday to go hiking. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand this morning. :-D I have no doubt Mannie enjoyed his poke-less day yesterday. :lol: :lol: :cool: We had a great test feed shoot this morning. well sort great feed - the Nanner King turned his nose up at Merrick BG Turkey. :shock: :o :shock: Mannie? Mr I will eat anything Hoover? weird, and what is up with that? So we had to reserve: ProPlan Chicken and Liver, an immediate hit, requiring several face washings. :lol: The nanners have been inspected and secured - once satisfied all was well there Mannie has camped out by the slider door, waiting for the bean to open it. We have a gorgeous sunny day here in the PNW - no doubt that somebody wants to be out in it. GO Mannie!! Maybe it will bring your BG down this morning... :lol: :lol: :cool: :razz:

Have a great day everyone! Shopping here today, and Mannie's cupboard needs restocking... and the beans frig need refilling... I really need to work the yard too. and a hike to the shore.... yay on the shore, blech on the yard and the store...

My Friends!!! What is up today? Rusty - we need more lap swimming? Maybe we could go hang gliding... and have a beach cookout. That would be so cool. What do you guys think? I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

Quick stop to 'Good Morning and have a good Sunday'. The sun is finally shining here, so there is a lot of catching up to do with outside chores. Restocking is a definite priority. Enjoy the day!

Morning Michelle, and I bet Mannie soon comes down to some nice blues. I bet he really enjoyed the mc fuds. I've not tried the Pro Plan brand, but I bet it's good if Mannie likes it! It sounds like a busy day there for you. I'm about to do laundry myself. Enjoy your hike at the shore.

Hey Mannie, a swim and a beach cookout sure sounds like something nice to do on a Sunday. I wonder whose house we can invite ourselves...See ya soon, Maggie

Hi Michelle, I'll have to go back to your yesterday's condo to find out how your hike went. Got home late last night! Nice that Mannie had a whole day with no pokes. Interesting about the BG turkey. Rusty wouldn't eat it either, and he's a turkey man. Luckily, I only bought 1 can.

Enjoy your sunny day and I hope that you get everything done that you've planned.

Hey Mannie, YES! let's get the gang together, swim some laps, and have a cookout on the beach. I'll bring some hot dogs for grillin'. And then we can bake a cinnamon birthday cake for Putty's 8th birthday. Maybe we can continue the beach party on a MA beach. See ya later!

Morning, guys! Glad that Mannie had such a great day yesterday... looks like he'll be headed down today too... woo! I think the BG Turkey isn't always the most popular because it does have a significantly lower fat % than most other foods. And, well, fat is what makes stuff tasty for us, soooo....... :lol: :lol: :lol: It's often tricky getting Willie to go back to it after a round or two of Grammy's Pot Pie or California Roll, but a little chicken dust is usually enough to entice him! Hope you guys have a great day!

It sounds like both you and Mannie had a great day yesterday. the shopping was actually kind of fun yesterday, big anniversary celebration in addition to the 20% off. Tess got a free new fleece blanket and some treats that may be good, ever heard of "Breathies"?

Mannie! Lets go hang at Gracie's and wake her up! We can do some KTSS, and laps and even hang gliding! Putty's Birthday?!!! Oh boy, my first party as Pastry Chef! I'll do extra special decorations! -- Tess

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - Right you are - the boy made blue. Hooray! And that was a definite yes on the MC fuds as far as Mannie was concerned - they were his favorite - perhaps that is why the turkey was a reject this morning! :lol: :lol: the proplan is a decent food - it's kind of one of my backup foods in the event he decides he wants something else - 2% too!

Hi Ella - hike was wonderful, and yes I did talk a little bit about it yesterday. I know on the turkey... Mannie is too, and I have fed this before. He just wanted nothing to do with it today. Before he thought it was good. He really does like the BG salmon, and the tuna one, but well - don't serve him fish all that often, and besides Surf and turf rule the roost there. thanks - much to do!

Hi Christie - :lol: :lol: on the fat content in foods - why should kitties be any different than us humans... they want the good stuff too! FLAVOR! and hooray for chicken dust... :-D :-D -- thanks - it was really nice yesterday - wish had more time to head on out like that - very enjoyable!

Bet Mannie really enjoyed your hike....No pokes. :lol: :lol: He is probably wishing his bean would take more hikes....no poking.

Curry is a hoover kitty. All I have is the Turkey and then she gets +8 snack of her favorite FF...has some god-awful liver taste it....but she loves it.

Yay on the hike today and boy do I hear ya on the grocery shopping. Hate it.

Yay for the blue number!! Keep it up Mannie. I did the re-stocking of the kitty food this morning and getting ready to go grocery shopping for people food. That is the only problem with going away on vacation...having to get back to the same old routine.

Hey, Mannie, I hears that you didn't get the pokey thing for a day. Well guess what...I didn't get the pokes for two whole days while my bean was away! I missed her but it sure was nice to not get the pokes. Don't you agree?

Mannie's looking good. I've glad you put the carb percentages next to the foods you give Mannie cuz I've been looking at something that's less than 4% so I might have to try that ProPlan stuff!!

Glad you got out yesterday and enjoyed your day! We always wonder what numbers we miss, but need the break or it will consume us. Hope you had a successful shopping trip tonight and a wonderful evening Michelle!

Sure is some mighty fine stuff out there to see. yep on the shopping, except for the kitty fuds... tomorrow on that one.... Mannie was stomping his feet when he realized I was fuds-less... :lol: :lol:

Hi Marje - yep, a little one, but he seems to want to head back to the yellow. Oh well - he has done this many times before - we may get a couple of days of it, and then back to business. We did OK today - not everything, and the yard work is endless. I did make a dent in the list, which is good! :-D :-D

Simon - you got what???? Two days off? WOW dude - that is way cool! I am so jealous!! two whole days.... that would be so nice. I know on the missing the bean thing, but wow, anything for two days off! ~~ Mannie

Hi Marje - ok... so here I am already to go to bed, and went to pet Mannie good night. I found him in the kitchen in his test spot, waiting. and here I was going to give him the rest of the night off. since he was so insistent tested him I did. wow - a 99. :-D I would like to think that he wanted me to know he was green...

Good luck with Boo - it is nice of you to help them out.

ok, Now I am off to bed. fed the boy a little extra, and NI NI for us both.
