Morning ~O) and thanks for all the visits I missed after I logged off, Ella, Amy, Roni, Marje, Amy, Anne & Zener and Tamara.
Mags is a bit high this morning, but I think it's due to the free feeding close to pre-shot. She always has a nice Nadir. She tested 105 on the Relion Confirm at the +3, ao there's a variance of 43 points between the two meters. I'm not quite ready to give up on this dose for a few reasons. We have upcoming Vetty check-up visit next Monday, so we'll check out her teeth, b/w, renal disease, etc. Maggie is 13.5 years young, so it's always a sigh of relief after a Vetty check-up. All P's in place, except the pole toy was left on the living room floor. Mags was trying to get me up before the alarm went off, as she jumped onto the bed and stared but then decided to leave the poor ole Bean sleep a few more minutes. Wishing all a nice day. Not quite sure yet of my plans, but it to be another warm day,
Special thoughts and prayers for Michelle and Mannie and all kitties and their Beans needing them.

Very strange with the +4!!! I usually don't do a +4 and jump to the +5, but was curious! We do front loading.

oh wow on that +4. wonder what isup with that? we front load too - maybe for whatever reason this morning that is the cause. Unusual for Maggie. I think Vyktor needs to come over....

Good luck with the dosing... I can so understand why you want to hold onto it for a while, Logical.

Nice that Maggie let you sleep a little while longer. Well done Maggie! Enjoy your day today - hope it is a good one.

Hi guys .. hmmm maggie what's up with that +4?? I'm sure she can bring this back down .. maybe she is worried about her upcoming vetty visit as well? It's always such a sigh of relief after the visit and everything is checked out good .. have a great day guys!

* I do think something is amiss here with this AT meter using the new strips with the Code 7. On the Relion Confirm, her reading is 140 (58 point variance). I am doing some investigating and will let you know the outcome.

Oh Maggie...it's the meter, isn't it??? It sounds like those new strips are giving you a big headache, Ann!!

I couldn't agree more about breathing a sigh of relief after vetty visits. I hate going. I have to take Mario tomorrow, for BW, BP check, and a follow-up for his cyst. I'm dreading it....BUT, when I look at him, I can tell that overall he's happy, so that helps calm my nerves a bit. Same with Mags...she's one happy little girl, so what could the vet possibly have to say???

I think the meter is the perfect culprit. Did you say vetty visit out loud Ann? I know she will come right back down for you. So sweet that she let you sleep. She needs to teach Turnup how to do that. Have a great day!!

I think we need Maggie to do a class on this letting the Bean's sleep in thing. I'd like to sign up both my kitties please!

Maybe the vetty visit would be a good time to compare bout your meters if they are doing a bg test at all? Just to give you some peace of mind about it? Maybe?

Nice on getting to sleep in. Those numbers are weird. Could it be time to abandon the AT?

Well good grief, if it's not syringes then it's meters driving us all crazy! Ya gotta wonder about the new strips with the old AT meter. If you still want to stay with the AT meter, it may be worth getting the new one to go with the new strips. Or, it could be an opportune time to switch. If Mags is feeling her usual self, that's the important part! :razz:

Amy, yeah something does seem strange alright with her ups and downs. Oh no, poor Mario. Same check-up as Mag gets, bp, b/w, etc. They can commiserate together later. :lol:

Melissa, hard to believe, but Mags did let me sleep in a little. She said she can help Turnup out or get them both into trouble, :lol:

Tamara, yes, I think I will take this meter in to compare with theirs and talk about the problem.

Ann & Tess, glad you all are enjoying the Maggie and Vyktor as the World Turns! :lol: I am about ready to abandon the AT! :-D

Michelle, aren't they hilarious, Vyktor and Mags! I wonder if it could be the cat thing, too! Hope not though.

Anne & Zener, you're right as the important thing is that Mags is feeling good. I know we can get so caught up and driven by numbers and trying to get the greens that we (I) forget to look at the whole picture.
