Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOts - it's DGS day!), and Happy Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug have taken the day off. They came home from their adventure yesterday, visiting pizza places, all covered in flour and smelling like cheese. it seems that all these pizza gurus wanted to learn from them, and put the to work! Bug says it was cool cuz he got to eat his fill of cheese. Lola was so busy putting their paw print logo on all the pizzas that she didn't even notice that she looks like a flour bag. They say it is all good, but they just wanna chillax.... so. well. anyways. onwards! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle.. OH! No worries, a dollop of frango mint and chocolate and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a good day yesterday. I had a great time being out and about throughout the day. each time I came home I was greeted by the troops: Lola and Bug, and sometimes Elsa. She doesn't make every one, as no one ever disturbs her beauty sleep, including me and my arrivals. This is what I wrote about yesterday in last night's post: "Hi Everyone! I had typed this whole wonderful response and just lost the whole darn thing! ARRGGHHH!!!!!!! and heavy sigh..... :YMSIGH: I survived my social day. PHEW!!! breffis was fun with my DS. We always have such a good time. it's great to hear what's up with him, what's new. He's doing great, and that is good news. I survived my service apt for my car. I did find out that there is a recall notice on it: an airbags issue. again. This is about the fourth time they have recalled this car for an airbag issue. Get it together Honda! I love my car - its a great car: a 2001 Civic and I still get 30/32/35 mpg. Now if they could just fix the airbag issues. Finally fix. Seattle was great too. I t was nice to head into the "Big City" to see friends. YaHOO! I survived my social day."

I have had another sign from Mannie. This time it was a cap that goes over the needle of a syringe. It is amazing the things he chooses to say hello with. I have no clue how he choose this item, as I haven't had any of those loose caps here in this house in a very long time. I never took them off, or opened the package until I used them. Yet there is was: on the counter, just waiting for me. Another sign that is so unique to Mannie. Thank you big guy - I do so miss you. I have noticed too over the past few days that some of Mannie's old behaviors are starting to show in Lola and Bug. Mannie always came and joined us for dinner. He'd sit next to us, as close as he could get, and place a paw or both on an arm, and wait. He'd wait so patiently for us to drop a morsel or offer him something. It was so unique and so Mannie in just he body position alone. I find it interesting that Bug has started to do the same thing: same position, same movements etc. WOW, interesting that Mannie would try and influence the behavior of others here just to say hello, and all is well with him. I'd attribute Lola and Bug's greeting to my coming home too to Mannie, but in all honesty I think they would do that anyways: it is their nature. Now if either one of them start prancing, or giving me the Mannie squinty eyed look then I will have to reevaluate. ;-) In the meantime it is so cool to know that Mannie is forever here, and takes the time to just say HI!".

I took this video last night of Lola. She has this thing with the shower door - comes to help me out every night when I shower. She must like the way the glass feels on her paws. I dunno, but it cracks me up. She is one crazy, but fun, cat! Never a dull moment here..... normalcy in MusketeerVille.

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty once again. Nicholas will come and spend the day like he usually does, while mom and William stay home. I hope that in a few weeks mom and William will come and join us for some of our activities, before she has to return to work. Today will be a swim day, followed no doubt with another salmonberry and now also huckleberry hunt at the pool trail. Yahoo! the energizer FISH will be back at it!

KITTIES!: Think BLUE!!, Think GREEN!!

Great to hear that you had a good social day. What fun with the breffis with DS and then into the big city. Wow on the signs from Mannie. He will never be far and wants you to remember that. I am sure he has had some influence on Lola and Bug as well. Awfully big paws to fill, but they are doing a great job even if it does take two of them. Love the video. She is such a beautiful kitty.

Have a great day Michelle!

Morning Michelle, sounds like a wonderful day yesterday starting with breffifs with DS, the Chef who makes the great Eggs Benedict, is that right! Glad you got the air bag fixed. I have one of my panel lights blinking, so I need to get it checked out, oh geesh!
I love the video of Lola; she is darned cute. Wow on the top of the syringe, another mannie sign.
Have a great time swimming with DG and wherever the path leads you for the afternoon. :-D
Elsa, extra Espresso for me today, many thanks, Auntie Ann

Hi Michelle,
What a lovely day you had yesterday. That message from Mannie was fabulous, as is Bug beginning to acquire some of his mannerisms. And the Lola video--wow!! That's just how Stu used to pound on doors (although he never did it on a shower door, since we have shower curtains). Lola looks a lot like Rusty. How big is she?

Thanks for visiting last night. I was really wiped out, but this morning am fine (except for my blackfly bites). I did, however, go back to sleep after breakfast. Have a fun day with Nicholas.

Ella & Rusty

Elsa, thank you for making that extra special energy espresso for me this morning. I really needed it after yesterday's adventure.

Morning, Michelle ~O)
Lola cracks me up with her antics! :-D She's such a silly goose, always up to something.
How wonderful Mannie's still around ~ influencing behavior, leaving souvenirs. Warms my heart.
Mannie is forever here
Yes he is! :-D :-D

I hope you have a great swim day today with the Energizer Fishie!

PS: I hear ya on the airbag ordeal ~ there's an new one waiting for my CRV at my Honda dealership... deja-vu.

Morning Michelle,
What's in that shower Lola??? I love that video! Ollie does the same thing on his little window in the semi. I always wonder if he's trying to dig his way out.
I'm glad you had fun on your "social day". You always pack a lot into a day!! It's so cute that Lola and Bug have turned into the "meet and greet" twins :-D YAY!!! Mom is home!!!! They must know they are now at their forever home. :YMHUG:

I think hearing about your signs from Mannie is one of my favorite parts of the day!! He will always be right next to you. Magic rules!!!!!!!!!!! Love you MochaMannie.

Elsa, Lil Bit... extra please today my sweet kitteh barista. OOOH I see you coming up the driveway with a thermos.. BIG HUGS!!!!!

Have fun today.. right... like anybody has to tell you that.
xoxo mary and ollie

Does that mean you gave away the meter and strips, so Mannie had to use something else to say hi with? And are you sure, you never had a loose cap laying around? I know I was always careful to put the cap on after use, just so I wouldn't poke myself...but you know, maybe once you didn't?

I think it's cool that Mannie is around and sending signs as well as influencing the new additions, especially when they never actually met. Do you ever notice any of them looking around as if someone is there, but you can't see it? Occasionally Buster will walk down the hall, jump/levitate and look behind her - cause someone (whom I can't see) goosed her. I laugh and ask who it is, but she never tells and neither does the visitor.

Does Lola do that while you are in the shower? Now if only you had a shower curtain and she had a huge knife..... nailbite_smile oh wait, that's a different movie now isn't it!

A force like Mannie has to show itself, I'm sure Mannie is giving Bug pointers!  Have a great day w/ Nicholas! What will you do when William joins you for outings? How old will he need to be to go to the pool? Or will you just stay on deck w/ him?

I'm glad you had a good social day yesterday. I'm sure you'll have a great time with Nicholas today.

That is such a cute video of Lola. That is exactly what Furball does to the plastic on my front storm door.

That is so cool on the sign from Mannie. He'll never be far away.

Such wonderful and amazing signs from Mannie, between the cap and the others picking up some of his characteristics! Love the Lola video...she's a hoot!!! That's what my Frankie does to our bedroom door at night. I never get to actually see it, because I'm attempting to sleep on the other side...but I sure can hear it  !

Have a great evening, Michelle!!!

Hi Everyone! I hope you day has been a good one. It has been busy here. Nicholas and I had a nice day at the pool. It was a good day at the pool for the most part. In the past we do the play area first and then move to the bigger pool: his pool of choice where he has such space to swim and play in. It was funny in a way: to the minute little guy knew that the big pool time was there, a huge disappointment when I told him we couldn't. This was the first time I have seen him cry due to shear sorrow, not because he was hurt or angry or exercising the terrible two's. It was because summer session started today and he can no longer swim in the bigger pools, due to them now being used for lessons, summer programs, etc. He was so disappointed. Tears of sorrow. To quote my little swimmer: "What a bummer...." Poor kid. well he will adjust, next trip there will be better, less sadness. it was interesting to see to that he didn't get mad, just incredibly sad. wow. well anyways, needless to day we were out a bit earlier than normal, and ate an early lunch, hit the trails after that, It was kinda funny, all through this hike and berry hunt he keeps saying "I can't go to the big pool. what a bummer" LOL. well, I really need to contact his great granny and see if she will let us use her backyard pool - outdoors in the sun - it would be great. dunno though how she will feel about us there without her being around. guess we shall see.
LOL: what a ZOO there today at the pool. The line for the open swim was down the hall, out the door, down the sidewalk, around the corner into the parking lot. lmao. Needless to day alot of those folks didn't get in.... I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's Loose Lips condo.

HI Melissa - THX, yesterday was a fun one. I know on the Mannie signs. :-D I think you are right, he's just making sure I know he's near. His influences seem to be everywhere, they are so calming. It was that way from the day Lola and Bug came here. They were so at ease. I think they had a welcoming committee of one. Thank you Mannie! THX too on the video and Lola - I think she is a beauty too. very pretty!

Hi Ann, and Maggie - THX, it was great yesterday. Busy, but fun. Yes - same son: the EB one! :-D Me too on the car. dang! but good to go. THX on the video and the Mannie sign. I can't help but wonder what is next. :-D We had a great time at the pool today - always a good place to go.
Auntie Ann1 You is so welcome! I will see you bright and early tomorrow too, 'K? ~~ Elsa, Lil B IT, kitteh barista

Hi Ella - i thought so too: what a nice day yesterday. I loved the Mannie message. Miss that guy! Oh too funny on Stu and the pounding on the door. Know I now what you were seeing. Funny aren't they? Lola right now it about 9 pounds, but she is only one. I'm not too sure how much more she will grow. I thought she looks like Rusty too, and do believe she has some Maine Coon in her. Paws shleter seemed to feel that she will eventually be a big cat. ????? BTW:n ice hike recovery! bummer tough on the fly bites: never fun.
Auntie Ella - anytime! I thoughts you would need some thing extra special today. psssttt.... lots of shots in that one. :-D ~~ Elsa, Lil B IT, kitteh barista

Hi Josie - oh yes on Lola, it is the same for me. She makes me smile and laugh. She's certainly been a great addition here. One crazy, but great, cat. Me too on the heart warming. It just so ncie to keep on finding these things, and to see some of his mannerisms in the new ones. love it! THX too: that he is: forever here. how great is that! :-D TJX too on the energizer FISHIE - great pool time. oh my: you too with Honda?!?! deja-vu indeed.

Hi Mary - oh wow - another one that does that. Go Ollie! And she only does it on the shower door, no other glass surfaces. weird.... what does she see on there? I dunno! Yes on the day - and yes I do. I like to be busy, so will cram the day full of stuff. silly, but I kinda like it. relax? what is that..... Thank you on the Mannie signs. oh yes: magic rules. I don't go looking for them, they just appear - I kinda stumble onto them, and then it is BAM! a sign lies right in front of me. It 's such a calming find too, so at peace That alone is so so Mannie. ME TOO: love you MochaMannie!
Auntie Mary - you gots it: extra rules today. SO many beans in dire straits..... heeheeheee - you like my thermos? I found it next to my pillow this morning. I thinks Mannie sent it....~~ Elsa, Lil B IT, kitteh barista

Hi Hillary - Guess he did! I just gave away the last of the syringes the other day too, two whole boxes. Ya know initially I wondered on those things that he is leaving. Did I drop one somewhere, or lose a cap along the way. then I think, nah..... every time I tested or gave an injection all that stuff was always accounted for: manly becasue Nicholas was here and I just couldn't have him getting into any of it. so.... I dunno..... he would help me test etc, so after all was said and one we took inventory, made sure nothign was dropped etc. I think it's cool too. I love the behavior influences. :-D I haven't noticed them looking. I will have to pay close attention. I bet it's there and I have missed it. oh too funny on Lola, the shower and the knife. that made me laugh. Sometimes she does come in: sits in the corner and watches the water fall. silly cat.

Hi Ann and Tess - yupp I do believe that you are right. that force will not be denied. :-D  Bug seem to belistening too. On teh pool: i dunno! we have to work on that, as Nicholas requires both hands. so... not too sure how I will handle William. I will hope that DGS can handle himself in the water by then, He does great now, but I still have to ":save him" now and then. I believe it is 6 months on the age - not sure though. I see moms there with very young babies.... as soon a William can get into the water I will take him. We waited until Nicholas was about 15 months, and in hindsight I could have started earlier.

Hi Carla - THX. yesterday and today have been good. Busy, but good! Oh too funny on Furball - another kitty that does that. cracks me up when I watch Lola, it must feel good to them? THX on Mannie, I so agree: forever here.

Hi Amy - THX, I think so too on Mannie: warms the heart to know he' so close. And Frankie too! so many beans have said heir kitties do this tonight. oh my on your bedroom door - I can now see why it is such an "issue"/problem for you, as it is really LOUD! How could anyone sleep through that? BAM BAM BAM BAM!

Love reading your post,ad the video was cute I have one of those that never stops at the door scratching

Hi Linda - many thanks! and thanks too for the visit. I have never had a kitty that has done what Lola does in this video - it is amazing that so many others here have, too fun!

Sounds like another great day today with Nicholas. I took Liz huckleberry and salmonberry hunting in the woods near our house today. She'd never had them before and I like knowing what they taste like when I read about the berry hunts. :-D It's been so damp that the salmonberries weren't as sweet as they were earlier in the season though.

Cute video of Lola. Civie Theo does that to the solarium glass whenever one of the neighbourhood cats is out on the other side. I think he's just knocking on the door to get out. It is rather fun to watch when they do it though.

Yes my Tuxie kitty Taz never gives up from trying to make a run for it,he has now mastered the from door I have the type that when you turn handle the lock turns to,well Taz can jump on the handle and turn it, he only does it so I will yell at him, I think he has ADHD mol I own nothing no nik naks. I'm not aloud to have anything but kitty toys. I will have to post a picture of him staring at door handle trying to will it open I blocked the door until I can change locks. I will post picture tmro...

So glad to read that Mannie is making his presence known and exerting his substantial influence over the newcomers. ;-) Oh Mannie, we all miss ya big guy. We had a kitty, Molly PItcher, who did the same behavior as Lola is doing on your glass door. It used to crack us up. Thanks to Lola for the fond memory of our beloved Molly. :YMHUG:

HI Wendy - we did ok, a good day indeed. How very cool that liz got to taste and see those berries! Always nice to actually see what one reads about. Ours haven't been all that sweet either, but Nicholas never cares: he eats them sweet or sour! oh ye on out kittties when they do that. Kinda funny!

HI Linda - too funny on the door! amazing what they can figure out. silly cats. LOL on the kitty toys. that sounds familiar!

HI Anne - how very fun with Molly. that is so cool. I'm reading about so many kitties that used to do the same thing. how fun! I so agree on Mannie. miss him too!
